nthng follows up his acclaimed debut EP 'Remember Us' with the third entry into the Mörk catalogue, '1996'. Taking a less aquatic approach to production, but still shrouded in warm analogue fuzz and reverb, '1996' sees the young producer on much more reverent form, channeling a wider range of influences from German dub techno to staggered UK bass and Giegling-esque minimal tropes.

The collection's opening track is a sunshine-filled slice of daytime disco from LA's duo Poolside recent album "Heat", which is remix by Baio, aka Vampire Weekend's bassist Chris Baio.

These are the first ~2 hours of my set in the South of France at Le Cannet 2 days ago. We did one of my best friend's birthday and I was planned to play there for as long as we could, which ended up in a 12hours marathon set surrounded by my favorite people.
The setup was incredible, the stunning view during a beautiful sunset (cover)and to be able to play all night outside with this amazing weather made it a very special moment. 
I had a lot of fun doing it, starting with some chill deep house as you can hear in the mixtape. Hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.
