It’s been a minute since the last Section 23 release so we thought you deserved a bit of a treat with this one. Presenting the ‘Incidents’ EP, out everywhere on 25th February 2022.

Delving deep into the archives, the legendary Mark XTC brings a previously unreleased DAT to the mix with a mid 90’s jump up slammer. ‘Check Da Switch’ has everything you could possibly want from a wobbly, fun filled Reebok Classic sole burner. It’s mashed up Amen breaks and lead bassline straight from the Joker Records School of low end combines perfectly to take you back in time to the days of Helter Skelter and even Section 23’s very own parties.

Of course we had to include both Max Baker and Erritate in this EP, not only for their individual production styles but also because they are both bloody good at what they do. Max’s infection ‘Incidents’ is already causing a whirlwind on dub and if you know of his previous releases across various labels, you will no doubt love this minimalist two step affair. 

Erritate brings two tracks to the party; an early 90’s rave inspired twist up ‘Ten Sixths’ full of wonky stabs and fierce drums plus ‘Be Mine’ which also calls on the good old days with a lovely chunky synth riff and female vocal stabs. Jamie S23 mixes piano keys, sliced and diced breakbeats, some legendary MC samples plus trademark basslines in a nod to ‘92. If you’re lucky enough to play on commercial airwaves, a clean version is also included! ‘That Free Party Last Week’ will have you reaching for your lighter in seconds.

Euphonique & Dazee have carefully compiled a whopping 96 track album - spanning across all types of DnB, from ragga jungle to jump up to liquid to grimey dub vibes to rave.

Featured on the album are 7 brand new exclusive tracks from Euphonique and Dazee themselves spanning different sub genres of DnB each representing the vibe and energy the two bring -  4 collabs, 2 solo tracks (one ft Killamanjaro) and a remix of Bam Bam by the Jungle Cakes bossmen DJ Deekline and Ed Solo ft Yolanda. 

Alongside their own exclusive tracks and classics from their own labels - Subwoofah and Ruffneck Ting - they have revived a variety of  their classic bangers from other labels AND - of course - have rounded up some of their favourite Jungle Cakes  goodies including music from bosses DJ Deekline and Ed Solo, long-term Jungle Cakes artists including Benny Page, Dope Ammo, DJ Hybrid, Kelu and Navigator and all corners of D&B - with the likes of K Jah, Aries, Sweatpea, Chickaboo, Lens, Gold Dubs, SL8R and Conrad subs all making appearance  - this album has hours of music for everyone's taste.
