Something Modern was founded in 2018 as a way to bring local beatmakers out of their bedrooms and into the venues.  Establishing themselves as a record label, Something Modern strives to expose their local community and beyond to the delightful sounds of Beat Music.  Each show is carefully curated, and has what they call an "immersive"  experience, making the audience just as much a part of the show as the performer themselves.  Make sure to bump their first compilationg tape "Foliage Vol. 1"  that was released in August of this year, and be sure to keep an eye out for their next release with SOMO artist Immrcy and his new tape, "Sine Language"
