The seventh edition of the microcastle podcast welcomes label artist MUUI. The Berlin based producer is coming off his first project for us entitled 'Amelie'. Released earlier this month the four track EP featured a collection of snapshots from MUUI's recent live shows. The diverse selection of tracks was a success receiving support from Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, Sasha, Stephan Bodzin, Maceo Plex, Agents Of Time, Guy Mantzur, Jeremy Olander and more while reaching #2 in Beatport Electronica and Progressive House, #4 in Techno and peaking at #8 in the overall Top 100.

 For the seventh edition of our podcast we've chosen a live show of MUUI's from a recent gig at Keller, Berlin. Comprised of all his own originals, showcased in the set is a variety of fresh, unheard music along with alternate / live versions of 'Amelie',  'Static Puddles' and 'Grey Feathers' (w/Marc Poppcke) [Crossfrontier Audio]. Marian Herzog hat sich vom Geheimtipp zu einem der meist gebuchten DJs im Großraum München und Augsburg entwickelt. Als Resident des renommierten Augsburger Elektroclubs Kesselhaus spielte er in den vergangenen zwei Jahren u.a. mit Größen wie EXTRAWELT, MOONBOOTICA, AKA AKA, ANDHIM oder auch IDA ENGBERG, STEVE RACHMAD, POPOF und vielen Weiteren. Auch auf großen Festivals wie Utopia, Echelon sowie als Teil des Künstlerduos/-projektes HERZOG & GEFOLGE ist sein Name mittlerweile Programm. Als Garant für intensive Partys ist Marian Herzog das ganze Jahr in Clubs von Berlin bis Lissabon unterwegs, um die Menschen mit seiner Musik zu fesseln und zu entfesseln! Seinen Sound und sein musikalisches Repertoire entwickelt er mit unermüdlichem Engagement ständig weiter.

2009 gründete er die Musikerplattform Sunset Recordings, die lokale Talente fördert und mit Showcases die Clubs der Stadt erfolgreich zum Tanzen bringt. Seine (Live-) Sets begeistern die Crowd mit knackigem Sound von Deephouse bis hin zu Techno. Mehr als zehn Jahre Erfahrung als DJ und sein Streben nach klanglicher Perfektion bilden den Grundstein für seine eigenen Produktionen, Remixe und Live Sets. Seit einiger Zeit arbeitet er zudem mit Sascha Braemer über das Berliner Label WHATIPLAY zusammen.

Heute möchte ich euch mit einem Geburtstags-Set der Hamburger Künstler Benjamin Lorenz und Christian Kuhlmann überraschen … die Beiden bilden zusammen das Duo вᄂᄃк. 

Zum ersten Mal sind mir die Zwei mit Ihrem Set  „waiting for südpol-sunday“ aufgefallen, dass sie eigentlich nur mal so aus einer Laune des Wartens heraus aufgenommen hatten. Das Set hat aber dann soviel Anklang gefunden das daraus Projekt вᄂᄃкentstand. Ihr Sound ist Downtempo der etwas anderen Art … deep, düster, groovy und immer mit dem Hang extrem unter die Haut zu gehen. Man merkt ihrem Sound auch extrem an, dass Beide eigentlich ihre Wurzeln im Techno haben. Mit diversen Gigs unter anderem bei „something slow“ im Beate Uwe, 3000Grad on Tour oder in ihrem Berliner Lieblings-Club begeistern die Beiden Ihre Hörer im Übermaß.

Mit Benni hat sich auch mittlerweile eine schöne Freundschaft ergeben und ich bekomme von Ihm immer wieder gute Tipps zu Set und Künstler die ich sonst nicht so schnell entdeckt hätte. 

Benni und Christian nochmals alles Gute zu eurem 25/27 Geburtstag und viele Dank das ich eure Geburtstagüberraschung präsentieren darf. 

Und nun viel Spaß bei diesem deepen Meisterwerk.
