A dream came true - Even if we where asked to play an easy Downtempo Set, which is a little different from how we like to play now at Gigs, we felt so happy and blessed to be invited by the lovely booking Crew of Dubstation Stage of the legendary and unique Fusion Festival in Lärz, Germany. What an honor to play there - hard to describe the feeling we had, when our phone rang with the invitation, the feeling to be back at this Festival after 4 years but this time as Artists and the feeling we had when we started our Set at this amazing created Dubstation. 

We didn't knew where the journey was leading us but with all the love of these strong Folks that stayed awake to dance and seesaw with us, this is what came out. Long story short, listen yourself. Here is the result of our 3 hour trip at 3am on Fusion Thursday.

Für diese 9. Podcast wilkommen wir @djfeldweg vom Kollektiv @spulenigel !

Er hat für uns ein Paar Fragen beantwortet: 

1. Wie kommt dein Künstlername zustande ?
Als die der erste Gig nahte auf der ersten Spulenigel Party glühten meine Freunde und ich bei mir zu Hause vor. Erik scherzelte: „Alter du bist einfach DJ Feldweg, wie du leibst und lebst!“ Alle die wir in der Runde saßen kamen aus dem Lachen nicht heraus. Der Lachflash hielt eine gefühlte Ewigkeit an und daraufhin war für mich direkt klar: Das ist er. Klingt für ausstehende vielleicht nicht sehr spektakulär und wenig nachvollziehbar, aber Erik traf den Nagel auf den Kopf wie man so schön sagt. Ich als Landei habe eine besondere Verbindung zur Natur und gelichzeitig liebe ich es querbeet und querfeldein Musikgenres zu spielen und die Leute damit zu begeistern. 

2.  Seit wann legst du auf ?
Eigentlich bin ich schon meiner Jugend „Der Typ der immer die Musik macht“ :D 2016 begann ich dann aber mich genauer mit der Technik auseinanderzusetzen. Der erste Gig war dann Anfang 2017 auf dem Geburtstag von einem meinem Wegbegleiter Horst Haller. Busi an der Stelle 😘 Das war ein kleiner großer Meilenstein für mich.

3.  Lieblingsclub ?
Das alte „Unten“ in Kassel am Hbf war für mich der beste Club in der Region. Die Partys da waren einfach legendär – Morgens wenn es begann zu aufzuklaren sah man die Züge im Kellergewölbe an sich vorbeifahren. Das war irgendwie schon etwas ganz spezielles.

4.  Lieblingszeit ?
Definitiv die Anfangsphase unseres Spulenigel-Kollektivs. Diese Aufbruchsstimmung und Kreativität in unserer „Sturm und Drang“ Phase war für mich absolut wegweisend auf sehr vielen Ebenen. 

5.  Lieblingsfarbe ?
Ganz langweilig: Grün

 6. Lieblingsessen ?
Selbstgemachte Pizza 

 7. Lieblingsplaneten ?
Venus

8.  Bestes Erlebnis beim Auflegen ?
Unsere Bea(s)ts of the Looney Bin Vol.3 im AK44 in Gießen mit unserem lieben Freund Enér. Ich spielte ein 3 stündiges Warm-Up und begann einfach drauf los zu spielen, ohne mich konkret vorbereitet zu haben, mein erstes Downtempo Set. Die Energie die ich vom Publikum zurückbekam löste bei mir einen unvergesslichen Gänsehautmoment aus. Ich spürte das Ping-Pong Phänomen zwischen Crowd und DJ bei diesem Set so stark wie ich es nie wieder spürte. Für solche Momente liebe ich es einfach der Mensch zu sein, der eine Atmosphäre gemeinsam mit der Menge kreiert. 

 9. Schlechtestes Erlebnis beim Auflegen?
Auflegen ist immer eine Erfüllung für mich, daher kann ich diese Frage nur schwer beantworten.

It come together in the sense of electronic music as being a pure form of ecstasy. Thanks to all the people i met and talked to on this trip, you inspired me and helped me grow! :)

Wow, what a night, this was something really special. <3 Thanks to everybody who was involved building up the Zirkus aus Zucker in this beautiful location called F23 in Vienna. It was a magical meltdown of great performances by the incredible Rhizomatic Circus Collective, numerous stunning exhibitions all over the place and a decent warehouse-rave in the basement provided by ourselfs where this set was recorded. We loved every second of it and feel honestly blessed to be able to express our perception of party in an environment we created and built on our own alongside so many talented and open minded friends with whom we are living a collective dream. And last but not least, unless we dont do it for us, we do it for every single person enjoying life and dancing with us at this #onenightofcollectivesweat <3
