2022, Oh what a year - Wir schwelgen in schönen Erinnerungen an tolle Veranstaltungen, fantastische Musik und schöne Aufeinandertreffen. Ein besonderes Highlight war die Biosphäre gemeinsam mit unseren Freunden der @Familie Feiernacht sowie unsere Quattro Stagioni-Reihe im Portier , welche beide auch in 2023 auf uns warten werden. Danken möchten wir an der Stelle allen treuen Besucher*innen und Möglichmacher*innen. Ein fettes DANKE auch an alle Künstler*innen und Zuhörer*innen unser Igelkarussell-Podcast Reihe. Zudem möchten wir euch auf unsere Spulenigel Homepage mit frischem Anstrich und neuen Features hinweisen, wie z.B. dem Eventkalender 👉 www.spulenigel.de 
Das vergangene Jahr abschließend und gleichzeitig neue Jahr begrüßend, möchten wir euch aber nun mit unserer #111 (Schnapszahl-)Ausgabe des Igelkarussells, mit niemand geringerem als @MarcelPuntheller, verzaubern. Der Weltenbummler und Tausendsassa ist bekannt für seine Vielfältigkeit und beglückt uns passend dazu mit seiner „Saga“-haften Selection.
Als Founder von @SlowBar und „Feelgood-Manager“ des @RandomCollectivecr zieht er die Strippen in der Szene eher im Hintergrund. Underground zu Leben ist dabei seine Devise, der er dabei stets treu bleibt. Er lebt den Underground vor, wie er selbst sagt, kennt die Schnittstellen in die offizielle Kulturwelt. Dieses Wissen gibt er gern an den Nachwuchs weiter und versucht dabei die Philosophie des Gemeinsamens und Miteinanders in der Szene zu stärken, getreu dem Motto „We are all one“.
Der Mix startet eher wie eine Art Kollektion/Selektion und nimmt zusehends immer mehr Fahrt auf. Die Auswahl der Tracks besticht durch eine beeindruckende Vielfalt. Als immer wiederkehrendes Element finden sich orchestrale Passagen und Tracks, welche dem Set einen roten Faden verleihen. Macht euch also auf ein entschleunigtes Set mit eingebauten Spannungsbögen, derben Grooves und dem richtigen Händchen für Melodien, gefasst.

Our Way Through Processes is @arilumusic's first album after EP releases such as Lemuria and Era of Harmony and contains work from the last 4 years.

The album reflects a long journey through all the ups and downs, emotions, thoughts, all facets of the artist's life, but at the same time it contains a wide spectrum of healing frequencies and songs.

The intention of this album is to let the listener feel/experience their conscious/unconscious serving but also no longer serving emotions, with the aim of feeling or letting go of them in peace and harmony.

They can put you into a kind of trance or meditative state.

They touch us when we listen attentively to the sounds, experience them as a sound journey, e.g. for ecstatic dances, for quiet inner reflection or dream journeys etc.

We will release the 10 track album over the next 14 days, with the final release date being 25.05 on all music platforms.

We are happy that @alban-endlos joins us for the first release on heiter bis wolkig. Three tracks serve as a teaser for Alban’s upcoming Album - accompanied by remixes from @powel, @ddoollpphh and @janhertz.

Don’t expect from-the-shelf-electronics here: Alban weaves a weird but beautiful blend of foley tools, saxophones, detuned pianos, analogue synths and pulsing beats. Add the organic touch of guitars and drums by friends he invited over to the studio and top it off with vocal recordings from his childhood.

The demo left us amazed - the EP now finally enters our living rooms to warm our feet in the winter and surely invade some dancefloors as well…
