Moving on with our mission by spreading love through music, we've put together this exploration in music as a podcast for our favourite portable speakers, Minirig.

Wir können es immer noch nicht ganz und gar realisieren...
Der letzte Freitag, die achte Konception, war bis dato definitiv der Höhepunkt.
Es hat einfach alles gepasst vom ersten Nebelshoot bis zum letzten Schweißtropfen. 
Rundum ein Goldstück das sich sehen lassen kann. 

Gestern gab es bereits das Closing Set zu hören. 
Heute folgt die kleine Star Wars Einlage konzipiert und ausgefeilt von meiner Wenigkeit.

Dieses Set ist sehr persönlich, persönlicher als sonst.
Mit dieser Komposition konnte ich mir einen kleinen Traum erfüllen.
Seitdem ich denken kann bin ich ein riesengroßer Star Wars Fan.
Über die Filme, Bücher, das Lego und vieles mehr bin ich dieser Leidenschaft jahrelang nachgegangen.

Nun ist es mir gelungen diese Passion in meine Musik einzubetten.
Ich hoffe euch gefällt die Mischung aus gradlinigem Techno und einem Hauch Sciene Fiction.

After feeling like electronic & pop music was losing its soul, I became a bit nostalgic and started listening through the music that had inspired me over the years while sitting under the air con. This reminded me of the importance of timelessness and originality, something which was a big inspiration in my early stages of production. Being timeless and relevant at the same time is an extremely fine line and I'm sure its a hard one to master. This mixtape is a reminder that music isn’t about hits or ticket sales, it’s first and foremost about making your art and making it special.

So here is a "A Nostalgic Summer Pt. 1" to celebrate some of my favorite timeless electronic tracks and some newbies I hold in high regard.

Spring Tape is out ! 
I’ve been a bit quiet on the mixtape front since September, and I’m sorry about that. I’ve been working hard on a lot of new music for the past year. It’s finally shapping up - more on that soon. 
Anyways, I’m changing the mixtape format to 4 per year, starting with spring. 
As you know if you’ve been following the mixtape for a while, I always try to make each one very special. It’s still about telling a story, sharing my broad taste in electronic music, while selecting tracks that came out recently. I never want to compromise the quality, so I would rather do fewer tapes but be consistent.
I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I did making it, and I’ll be back with a lot more original music very soon.

When playing together as Ankaïn we never know what the others will do, play or sing before it actually happens. So for us it is a festival of surprises, thrill, chaos, genius and imperfection. The desire is always to melt as a trio and simultaneously with the crowd in this very moment. 

Over half a year we were waiting to play at the beautiful Atlantis stage. 
We were nervous as fuck but when the sun rose, friends showed up with champagne and your happy faces sparkled in front of us, every burden fell off, transformed into pure euphoria and we could have played 5 hours longer.

Thank you so much for this lovely energy, thank you to everybody who made this festival possible, thank you to the first 8am-accapella-rave-choir (1:48:30), we will never forget this morning!! <3

The shared love for electronic music in 2016 created the DJ Duo Schön im Wald. Their synergetic sound between Deep Techno, Deep House and Afrobeats unites vibrant club beats with organic sounds from around the world.
The theme of nature is present in every set, be it through archaic drumsamples of African tribal music or through driving beats that takes you on a journey to the most beautiful places that electronic music can tell you about.
After several years of experience in event management and private DJing, the duo decided in 2017 to bring their innovative sound to the clubs. Within a short time, Schön im Wald, as part of the nationwide event series "Timeless" and "Lustig Wandern", became an integral part of the Cologne and Trier techno scene and already received their residency in Odonien (Cologne) in their first year.
Let the two take you on their way and you will feel it very fast: It is beautiful in the forest.
