🗯🗯 Wie hat Corona dein Künstlerleben verändert?🗯🗯

Ich muss sagen, dass sich für mich musikalisch viel geändert hat, ich habe durch die fehlenden Gigs langsam das Interesse am mixen/auflegen/spielen anderer Tracks weitgehend verloren, bin dafür aber noch viel mehr in die Welt des Produzierens eingetaucht. Dabei habe ich auch gemerkt, dass ich mit meiner eigenen kreierten Musik noch viel mehr das ausdrücken kann, was ich mit meiner Musik vermitteln möchte. Mir ist klar geworden, dass mein musikalischer Weg so weitergehen wird, damit ich live spielen kann, wenn Corona wieder vorbei ist.

🗯🗯 Wo hast du diesen Mix aufgenommen? Wie ging es dir dabei? 🗯🗯

Den Mix habe ich aus lang-andauernden unveröffentlichten Projekten und spontanen live sets zusammengebaut, es war mir hier besonders wichtig zu zeigen, dass ich nicht nur ruhigen ambient-lastigen downtempo spiele, sondern meine Liebe auch schnelleren, bassbetonten Beats gilt.

🗯🗯 Was wünscht du dir für die Zeit nach oder mit Corona? 🗯🗯

Ich wünsche mir, dass wir alle diese Phase nutzen, um mehr zu uns selbst zu finden, damit wir - wenn es wieder vorbei ist - uns offener und empathischer begegnen können, fern von Spaltung, Abgrenzung und Meinungsverschiedenheiten. Corona ist nicht nur ein Virus, nein, es ist auch mit vielen anderen Dingen verknüpft. Es zeigt sich viel mehr, was wir Menschen noch als Kollektiv zu lernen haben. Ich bin mir sicher, dass die Musik stark dazu beitragen wird uns nach dieser Phase einfach und schnell wieder zu connecten und mit offenen Armen zu begegnen.

Wir machen einen kleinen Schwenker aus dem Norden rüber in unsere Landeshauptstadt und freuen uns, Turak alias Tilman begrüßen zu dürfen.

Das Auflegen hat er 2019 für sich entdecken dürfen und seit 2020 ist er Teil der wunderbaren Love Foundation aus Berlin. Musikalisch darf man sich auf Vielfalt und Geschick freuen.
Sein grandioser Mix zeichnet sich unter Anderem durch groovige Klassiker als auch schwungvoll-melodischen Klängen aus. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass sich das Energielevel stetig auf Spannung bewegt.
2 Stunden gute Laune mit einem entspannten Getränk ins Wochenende, wir bedanken uns für das tolle Set. ❤

Something Slow like O/Y's kind contribution to the Andaman Cleanup Weekend 2020; volunteering his time to clean up and recycle waste from the beaches of Neil Island in India, as well as performing live for local and international contributors at the event's cosy and late night celebration. If you can spot some unexpected synthies in this recording, O/Y showed the host's children how they could join the music-making - their jam session led to this improvised set.
