Welcome to our 17th sceance, opening for the Fall and on the verge of a new era. This time we greet two new members to our ever growing circle of artists: OWL from Belgium and Klara Vedis from Skopje who both sent us their material after OZORA festival has taken place in august. They feature very different mixes that cover the full scale of what we like to call “Natural_Selection style.” Enjoy!

First spotted on Nord Label, then more recently on Silent Season, re:st, Groundwork and Literature’s catalogues, Owl’s aptitude for creating subtle, lush sonic journeys keeps expanding and his last releases should further cement his reputation. The artist’s discography is in perpetual evolution. From experimental halfstep dnb, deep & dark techno, to a dreamy & melancholy ambient journey. Owl has quietly been rising through the ranks of a genre-bending leftﬁeld sound where sonic depth and expressiveness prevail. He put together a selection of his own and the best of the scene that is almost fluid and still athmospheric.

Immer noch in kosmischen Umlaufbahnen herumschwirrend, suchen wir nach einem Anhaltspunkt, der uns den Schwindel nimmt, den man uns am vergangenen Wochenende verpasst hat. Die Musik scheint langsam immer leiser zu klingen, so weit sind wir draussen. 

Plötzlich treffen wir auf ihn; er, der uns neue spherische Melodien zu Ohren trägt und uns langsam aber sicher und mit stetigem Wohlklang wieder erdet und in die irdische Umlaufbahn bringt.
