It's quite rare to view stars in a big city like Seattle.  Most of the time, I have to leave the city and go camping somewhere just to see the bright stars in the sky.  I love taking a long drive out into the middle of Washington; long drives out into the boonies to camp....I say it wouldn't be a Pacific Northwest summer without a weekend camping, staring at the stars. I find I get filled with inspiration when I stare up into space..... 

It seems I'm not alone in that either. Meet Dario Klein. Him and I got acquainted through the internet (shocker) and through releasing downtempo music on certain labels. I became quite a fan of his sound,  and soon we were sharing tunes back and forth. One day he asked me if I would be interested in remixing a song off his new EP with the Vienna vermin at Heimlich Musik ;) I quite enjoyed working on that remix, and soon, I found myself asking him if he'd share some of his sounds with a guest mix..... and now, it's time we all get LOST on a Space Ride!

Here's Dario:  "i just go with the flow, no matter if I'm djing or producing. I wanted to create a good soundtrack for a trip or road trip or anything, because the tracks are rolling so hard, so no matter if listeners sit at home and do a mind trip, or in a vehicle going somewhere, i think they can use it to get lost on the ride.  I'm also doing a lot of productions these days, after covid stopped me from being a touring musician. Last year I went from Berlin to Istanbul and then Marrakesh where I got stuck in curfew, but had the time of my life recording with my friends.  I think it's really important to capture your feelings in some way. It's good I find the time to feel free and just play what I feel. That's how I get lost on a space ride!"
