Recorded live at Vitality by Universal Harmonics on May 20, 2023, this was a unique opportunity for us to experiment with something different. Supporting the arc of the evening, we closed out the dance floor with driving hypnotic and housey grooves that ease gradually down to ambient in anticipation for the final act, a closing sound meditation by Annabella Joske. Always grateful for the opportunity to play this very special gathering - hope you enjoy this 66 minute journey.

Straight out from the enigmatic Oaxacan territories comes to Kyma Komplex, Iuan with ‘Rider & Let It Out, an immersive musical experience delves into the realm of electro and harnesses the indie force of a boyband with a two original, plus three remixes by Ulises Arrieta, Amunet & Armendariz.

The production journey for this EP was a meticulously crafted endeavor, marked by an extended timeline that yielded a more polished result. The tracks are imbued with personal focus, yet remain firmly anchored to the powerful beat that resonates on the dance floor. A canvas of personal introspection shaped by contemporary life frames the narrative, offering listeners a potent musical experience with the lyrical elements intertwine with themes of clarity, solitude, and the intricate facets of human personality.

The inspiration behind this EP finds its roots in a passion for musical diversity and the potent fusion of sounds and samples. The predominant genres of indie dance and electro seamlessly blend, elevating the experience to unparalleled heights, thanks in part to the contributions of our esteemed guest artists.

The opener is Rider, this track takes a narrative path, delving into the absence of identity and belonging, paving the way for a distinct personality to emerge. The musical evolution of Iuan has seen a shift towards a more pronounced emphasis on lyrical depth and messaging. SPÆCIAL PREMIERE: Iuan, LaTech - Rider [KYMA KOMPLEX]

Space Commander Emesh/AMS is the next legend on our show, and he comes with a very chilled-out and relaxing space trip! Emesh is the project of Antonio Muñoz where he unleashes his creativity in the music production of different genres: electronic, ambient, slow trance, idm. He comes from the beautiful region of La Alcarria in Spain. Since 2013 on Sendero Records, he has been delivering a quite diverse range of sound to the listener, sometimes danceable, sometimes calming, more metallic, more organic, and always inspiring. Antonio is both a musician and therapist. His musical influences owe much to the pop and electronics of the 80s when he started working as resident Dj at Deadly club in Brihuega (Guadalajara-Spain) about 9 years. From there he went to Madrid to do Dj sets in various popular nightspots of the capital like the Circulo de Bellas Artes, Mondo and Maxime between others. At the same time he recorded his firsts own tracks and remixes under the name of Dujay. Since then he has consistently been developing his musical interest attending courses and workshops on music production and learning to play many different instruments such as the piano, flute, oriental percussion, tabla, frame drum, congas and guitar. He also has an interest in shamanism and has learned techniques from various ancient cultures to work with sound for therapeutic purposes. Antonio gives regular sound therapy sessions and concerts using his Tibetan Singing Bowls, Shamanic Drum and other ancient instruments. In 2020 one of his tracks has been chosen to enter the program of the London Music Conference and has been invited by the organizers to play a set at the Fabric of London.
