Our Black Martian comes from the realms of EBM. A bit rough on the edges but still very melodic. A new generation calls it Italo Body Music. An older generation would simply label it Trance.

We prefer not to use labels, but we want you to get an idea of what you’re going to get when you enter the musical universe of Mundo D.

Alen Skanner provides us with an additional interpretation of our Black Martian. Familiar but yet still very different. He may still come from the realms of EBM but as we travel further the story unfolds somewhat differently. It appears that parallel universes do exist.

Miguel de Bois however does not appear to be from a parallel universe but instead he appears to be from the future. Just as time can be sped up or slowed down, our remixer seems to be travelling at light speed. High-octane Hi-NRG!

Modula is proud to present its sixth release, "YAR Remixes", the remix of the original album by Voltage Controlled Illusion, the label's founding duo with Flamme and Yerno Vil as protagonists.

While the original contains the traces that mark the label's sonic direction from its foundations, composed through machines in an artisanal process of sound design, sequencing and arrangements, YAR Remixes is the work of ten creative minds that reformulate the narrative, functional and expressive character of each track.

We bring you an album that has been dissected, reworked and reinterpreted by huge international artists carefully selected to expand the sound spectrum of YAR. We have the presence of Álvaro Cabana (Rotten City Records), Playa del Karma (Logia Records), Tucu (Tucu) (Katarsis Electrónica), Cosmosolar (Modula, Phisica), Vleks (Chaos Candance), Ricardo Ruben (Playground Records), Perrone (Disco Halal), Prinze (Epicure Music), Gueva (Jeahmon, Phisica) and Mistery Kid (Femnoise Records).

Each of them develops a natural appropriation, turning each of the album's sonic insignia towards diverse aesthetic destinations that include traces from acid house to industrial techno, all based on the original indie dance retro character of the progressive school.

- label's bio:  Founded in 2023, Modula is an electronic music label with a unique proposal in the Buenos Aires music scene. His sound aesthetics can be associated with indie dance, dark disco or melodic techno, but the fundamental essence of his music is the conditions of its production: the use of analog synthesizers, sequencers, rhythm machines and other hardware devices that they use the artists that belong to the label to produce and perform their music. That is where Module finds its identity. The sound exploration, the aesthetic search and the time dedicated to these artisan processes of composition and completion of the music differ from the current accelerated processes of electronic production and place the label's participants on the radar of artists who stand out for the use of these instrumentals and the curatorship of said music.

Travis Jesse - Bell Epoque (Matias Delongaro Remix) [3rd Avenue]

@LaBelleRecords is back with some inventive macho disco from the one and only @Golden-Bug. 

La Belle boss Golden Bug hails from Paris and is a record producer, label owner, DJ, groove sculptor and metal sculptor who has had great solo success with singles and albums on his own imprint as well as Les Disques de la Mort and Gomma. 

The EP opens with the excellent 'Taste Of Love’ feat. Pajaro Sunrise, taken from Golden Bug’s 2016 album. As well as a new dub instrumental and remix from French pair Il Est Vilaine 

Golden Bug then offers up a brand new composition in ‘Hippie Friends,’ a superb slow motion acid anthem. It has sludgy drums that suck you in, psychedelic vocal sounds and gloopy bass all finished with ticking percussion and metallic hits.
