PEIX has been a techno lover for over 20 years and is now an esteemed DJ and live act, having helped drive his local vPortuguese scene forward. He brings a raw, intense sound with dense percussive layers and hypotonic drums designed to take dance floors to delirium. He's released on Hidden Secret Records, tau-ma, and is a regular on Berlin's ANTIMODUS, who was last here in 2023.

Kicking off his 'Tenet' EP is 'Sator' with deep, rubbery drums leading into a dank underground cavern alive with microbial synth details and a moody atmosphere that is dark but seductive. 'Arepo' is equally economical but impactful, with more tightly wound kicks setting a hypnotic tone as wispy synths dart about the mix. It's a richly detailed soundtrack to an eerie underworld, then 'Opera' gets more muscular with hulking kick drums pounding out a broken beat. Icy hi-hats keep the pressure on, while more swirling pads create an unsettling and paranoid vibe. 'Rotas' shuts down with a mix of sci-fi motifs and thudding kick drum loops. A whole ecosystem of synth modulations pans the stereo field with trippy, mind-altering effects.

CHROM goes ADE2025 with a VA-Sampler ànd a 2-day label showcase!

Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday.

Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: "Horizon", taken from the "#100"-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single "Missing, the iconic 90's classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass.

The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage', Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium.

Having graced our summer 2025 playlists with his lush Latin House grooves, Sweden's Rasmus Faber delivers the perfect groove to close out the season with a hot new spin on his gorgeous 2023 Majestic Casual release, 'How Do You Do It', for Farplane. Re-crafted with a vibrant energy for the dance floor, Rasmus' 'How Do You Do It' Remix comes with new sensual percussive beats, sweet key melodies and funky Latin guitars, peppered with a soft, ethereal vocal hook, as he delivers another outstanding production bursting with Latino spirit.
Rasmus Faber made a welcome return to his music roots in 2025 with a new series of productions on his Farplane label, including 'Seem To Last', 'Está Loca', and 'Pra Mim', drawing on his early influences and bringing a renewed focus to soulful contemporary grooves, Latin rhythm, and live instrumentation. It marks a continuation of the sound he helped pioneer, updated with the depth and craft developed over two decades of music-making. This new phase reaffirms Rasmus Faber's identity as an artist grounded in musicality, rhythm, and the energy of the dancefloor.
Rasmus Faber's roots run deep in melodic, soulful house music. After rising to prominence in the 2000s with a string of standout releases that blended jazz, Latin, and live musicianship into club-ready tracks, he became a defining figure for fans of the more musical side of house. His productions feature on iconic labels like Defected and Armada and led to collaborations with Axwell, Deadmau5, and Kaskade. In recent years, Rasmus has been composing music for anime, VR platforms, and major game franchises including Macross Delta, Metal Gear Solid, and Honor of Kings, the latter earning him a Hollywood Music in Media Award. At the same time, his jazz-meets-anime project Platina Jazz became a success in Japan and beyond, with nine albums and a global cult following.
