Igor Bartyuk bursts into Surrrealism with “Innuendo EP”

The great Russian talent makes an appearance in Surrrealism with an EP loaded with forceful rhythms, mysterious melodies and aggressive sounds. Sobek and John Falke accompany him on this journey into darkness.

"Innuendo" is the track that leads this journey. Igor already shows his potential as soon as he shows us the rhythm. The aggressiveness of his percussion accompanied by elegant and mysterious melodies keep you in tension at all times.

"3rd Reincarnation" is the second reference to this dark path. There is no time for clarity. Following the trend of its predecessor, this magnificent track keeps us immersed in a sinister setting. Dark melodies, aggressive synths and booming percussion are the common denominator on this journey.
Sobek steps forward to perform "Innuendo". Riding on an old skool rhythm and melody, Hungarian talent takes us back in time to offer us the roots of our sounds combined with the structures of current rhythms. A perfect symbiosis.

John Falke is in charge of piloting towards the end of this dark journey. His version of "3rd Reincarnation" is a true reflection of his toughest abilities. Hard-hitting kicks and basses flowing with enigmatic synths meant to move every foundation of the dance floor.

Cover by Nuria Baena. Friedrich Nietzsche is represented as one of the most influential minds in modern intellectual history. His ability to question reality is equated with the thoughts of our concept.

The majestic artist returns to Surrrealism with a wealth of resources to delight us with an exquisite EP.

Blood Personal opens the curtain on this magnificent performance in collaboration with Lee Endres. An angelic vocal welcomes us as if we were at the gates of paradise. A perfect chordal introduction to what is to come. A cult track for fine ears.

Distortion is imposing and relentless. A devastating rhythm and bass from the first beat. It moves steadily forward accompanied by synthesizers that slice the wind. Destined to shake every pillar in the club. Serve it up on a good powerful sound system.

Headrush Tactics is a collaboration with Accent. With no time to blink, like an avalanche of sound, we are enveloped in a spiral of rhythm. Frenetic rhythm and a dynamic pad form a groove that instantly grabs your attention. A must for the dancefloor.

Vertebra is the result of combining talent with Rick Offen. Meticulous when they set out to embellish a track with detail. Captivating with a high-flying sound, imperial like an eagle soaring through the highest skies. A warm track that tries to deepen and provoke your deepest feelings to emanate.

Antagonistic Radiance is the acoustic reflection of euphoria. Based on a melody that activates the auditory nerves to connect with your neurons directly. The pounding drums are accompanied by synthesizers that sharpen your senses. Chameleon-like qualities of an impeccable artist.

Blood Personal (Reprise Version) is the perfect gala finale. Once again the angelic vocal of the beginning of the show takes over our being. A masterful bass performance. As if it were the light at the end of the tunnel. A halo of hope that we will have forever. A timeless track.

Joone, Accent - Headrush Tactics (Original Mix) [SURRREALISM]

We welcome another stellar Spanish DJ and producer to the Club Mackan roster: Silicodisco. This time, we set our coordinates for Old Shanghai—a place out of time, blending echoes of the past with glimpses of the future. As always, we travel with good company: Bizzarro Universe and our own Marcus Christiansen are on board for remix duties.

Silicodisco guides us through two original tracks, "Old Shanghai" and "Look Back Without Me," each offering a unique chapter of this nostalgic expedition. With mellow synths, driving basslines, and unmistakable 80s-inspired beats, these tracks transport us to a dimension somewhere between memory and imagination.

"Old Shanghai" opens with voice-like, trance-gated synths that serve as the emotional core of the track. A dramatic midsection catapults us into the future with sharper, more aggressive synths, before gently bringing us back to where we started—a loop through time with purpose and precision.

"Look Back Without Me" leans into a similar palette but follows a more introspective path. A soft chord progression carries the main theme, while restless arpeggios create a simmering tension, unresolved yet hypnotically beautiful.

Bizzarro Universe reworks "Old Shanghai" with a clear nod to the 90s: punchy 909 drums, a euro-inspired bassline, sharp chord stabs, and a generous splash of acid. It’s a real powerhouse.

Marcus Christiansen takes "Look Back Without Me" deeper into darker territory. By emphasizing the arpeggios and adding a gritty acid bassline, his version edges closer to electro, intensifying the track’s restlessness while giving plenty of release.

No matter your direction, this release offers a timeless journey through sound. Boarding now.

We are super happy to welcome back Inessa on our label. Inessa, from Vienna/Austria where she founded the label Leisure Music Productions, made her Chrom debut 2 years ago with a great remix for IN-sane. And now she is back on Chrom with an original collab track together with Deseo. Deseo is a techno/house music producer and DJ from India, deeply rooted in the world of analog synthesis and among the early voices in the country's underground music scene. His work has quietly made its way onto international labels. Each track is the result of long sessions with analog synths, drawing emotion from voltage and sculpting grooves that are gritty, hypnotic, and deeply atmospheric.

Inessa and Deseo present us "Paramatma", an underground track build around an intriguing Hindi vocal which tells a story about spirituality.
