Purchased my first set of second hand turntables and supporting equipment with my first months wages in my late teens with dreams of playing in front of large crowds one day; feeding off the very same energy 'we' give them on the dancefloor.
Sadly, it wasn't to be back then. Living in a four to a block property did have its drawbacks; noise pollution as the neighbours called it, resulting in me having to sell everything a few months later to appease their disapproval of the bass drum. Back now with a controller since January 2022 promoting great music and balancing my rekindled passion between work and family commitments.
