Early 90’s, born & raised to David Bowie & Talking Heads music Did Virgo was ready to stumble upon House & Techno Music.
Embarking on a trip from London to Chicago & Detroit, the 30 years old boy got access to Marseille’s 1st electronic club control desk as a destination.
Techno & House Music were still a sub-culture in the making and Did Virgo wanted to share the love not only by djing but also by opening a bar, broadcasting a radio show & promoting events in his hometown.
Y2K was the time to make it complete by running a label « Pornflake » & starting
producing music with a friend. The boys got the chance to remix « Troublemakers » and to release a few EPs on an English label…. Did Virgo was ready to start to produce music on his own and he started another label called virgo music with his soulmate Paul Virgo.
2010, « La dame Noir » opens a bar in Marseille, this place is devoted to slow tempo & the dark side of disco music, Did Virgo is attracted.
The bar evolves in a club, he takes a residency, the club evolves into a label and Did Virgo find a natural home to release his music. And from there, the story evolved...here is his spæcial mix!

SINCHI is an Amsterdam based collective of musicians, producers, artists and writers searching for those all too brief moments of truth through their chosen medium.

They have released a number of successful EP's on Dutch label NightNoise in recent years and host their own ‘Sinchi & Friends’ mix series featuring artists around the world on the www.sinchi-collective.com/blog

In September 2016, they launched the ‘Sinchi - Altered States’ festival in Amsterdam. Other events are currently being planned throughout Europe for the coming year.

Sinchi also operates a non profit called www.sinchi-tribe.com - an organisation that focuses on the preservation of indigenous culture & knowledge. Coming soon is a groundbreaking vinyl project, which is a collaboration between aboriginal tribes and electronic music producers. Artists participating include Toulouse Low Trax, Moscoman, Joy Orbison, Boriusade, Gilb’R, Heretic, JP Soul amongst others.

Space commander https://soundcloud.com/man2point0 delivers the soundtrack for a slow psyched out wormhole ride to dimension 7. MAN2.0 AKA Mark Bailey has been London based all his life, his father working in a Vinyl factory had an impact on his taste in music leading to an expensive vinyl addiction from which he still suffers today. 
In 1994 the explosion in Britpop and Grunge inspired him to pick up a guitar and attach himself to some of the worst bands in West London, with welding equipment, in some cases.
As time went on, artists like the Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk began to inspire him to  seek out more and more electronic music. Now working in record shops as a vinyl buyer, his vinyl sections would never make money but would always have some of the most diverse, house, techno, breakbeat and EBM...As well as a copy of Carpenters Gold which he couldn't sell so would eventually buy himself. 
He began to embrace London's then bustling nightclub scene being a regular punter at Fabric, Turnmills and the End standing at the booth, eyes like saucers, while the likes of Craig Richards, James Lavelle, Laurent Garnier, 
Justin Robertson and Darren Emerson destroyed dance floors.  
In recent years Mark turned to production himself and after getting some attention from the Ransom Note and 44100kz Social Club via Soundcloud under his Manmachine201 moniker,  had a number of Tracks picked up by Tronik Youth's Post Techno label Nein, which has become the spiritual home of MAN2.0.
With releases or remixes due on Nein, Flight Recorder, Det Sync, Regith as well as Jo Howard's  new imprint Sulk Magic and forthcoming DJ gigs from Nottingham to Berlin, it's a busy time for a man who has recently just had a second child. Good job he thrives on a bit of chaos really.

Resident Advisor and Absolut join forces to bring you round three of Alternate Cuts, an event series celebrating the UK crews that keep their local nightlife scenes thriving. For little or no return, these promoters work tirelessly to bring their communities together. To celebrate this, we’ve collaborated with three crews to ask some of their favourite artists to play alternative sets. They’ll be exploring corners of their record collections that rarely see the light of day, in some of the best intimate venues in the UK.

On Thursday 2nd May, we rounded off the 3rd series of Alternate Cuts with a trip to Sheffield's Yellow Arch Studios where local crew Pretty Pretty Good joined us to host Tama Sumo. The Panorama Bar veteran treated us to an expertly delivered selection of some beloved broken beat bombs, transporting us from the steel city to mid-00s London. Listen as she unfurls soulful melodies and ruffneck rhythms.
