[PREMIERE] Ezee Beatz (Dub Mix)- Anderson | Not On Label [2022]

hiatus has finished, new wax is molded and Vakum spits out their celebratory tenth release. Warped Reality EP revisites galactic and spacious backbone sounds from not so long ago infused with fresh production spices. In this case, Cosmic G & Laars, the duo which grows from the new Serbian batch. Take a listen to this five-tracker riddled with space blasters and hypnotic segments.

A!. Flowing through interstellar space, B Star revisites some well known and loved sounds from early hypnotic era of electronic music. Upon arriving to the quazzar crossroads it also dives into breakbeat moments just to be reformed into acid sphere once again. A touch of trance goes a long way.

A2. Sometimes you hear a track that resmebles multiple tracks combined. This is just the case in Terestrial  Dreams. Filled with dreamy and galactic delays it pushes itself into endless progressive spiral of heavy bassline, smooth perc shots and otherworldly segments.

B1. All about the cosmic ride in a night train between two planets. Along the way it pasess through multiple sound stations and realms inviting even more passengers for this sparkling night out. Pure delicacy!

B2. Broken beats, scrapping vocals and intermitting bassline. Babble is inhaling acid hits from 
the sorroundings and projects them onto punchy snares and raw rhytmics to be carried further into old school babble beats. Perfect B side. 

B3. The outcast. The villan. The bad guy. Slow and ominous pace bundled with serious bassline sequence that goes into offence during the vocal break. This burner really stomps heavy hits onto you and smashes every sonic valve while pouring acid. "Oh, well, allow me to retort."

Paul Wise aka Placid is the driving force behind ‘We’re Going Deep’ – a thriving online community and record label that keeps you coming back for more. Born out of a lifelong affair with the many shades of electronic rhythm and an obsession for collecting records since 1988, Paul is known and respected by many in the realms of underground House and Techno. Renowned for making hips and feet move at parties, clubs and fields across the UK and beyond over the last few decades.
As a label owner, his mission couldn’t be clearer - releasing new music for heads of all persuasions. Fresh cuts aimed squarely at the dance floor, front room or even just your headphones. Rather than staying too hung up on the past, he continues to serve up the freshest in  Acid, Electro, Techno, Deep House alongside sweet slices of Electronica. 

Sticking to the format of 4 superlative cuts from equally talented producers, the quality remains unquestionably consistent on Volume 8 of his various artist series. Kicking off A1 in style with a family affair from Acid House aficionado Affie Yusef and his daughter Leila, ‘Dublovr’ is a Class A slice of pure late night chug that rides clockwork rhythms to a rolling bassline. As dubbed out synths ring out to lift you skywards – eerie sweeping undertones add another dimension. Tried and tested since the summer season, the added layer of a TB-303 brings everything nicely to a head. Not to be outdone, Bristol based Electro emissary Zobol delivers a pure slice of machinist joy on A2 ‘Sense The Consesus’, showing his ability to finesse and balance uplifting melodies with warm synthesis on this finest of jams.

Over on the flipside, Maltese producer Acidulant takes up the reins with the hushed tones of ‘The View of Her Shade’ on B1 – a thoughtful excursion into electro hinterland that’s a textbook lesson in making more with less. Last but not least, mysterious I Love Acid affiliate Type-303 turns out an exquisite IDM inflected serving of woozy broken Electronica on the mysterious ‘Knowhere’. Steeped in rippling melodies and aquatic atmosphere, the depth of focus resonates with a singular clarity that enchants on repeated listening.

It’s been nearly 2 years since our last reissue comp, so we’re pleased to announce SHRR06: Seven Hills Presents Governed By Rhythm 94 - 97!

We’re taking another wild excursion into the world of Andy Jones, the mastermind behind Precise Daily Rhythm, a label we reissued back in 2020. Governed By Rhythm was an outlet for Andy’s faster, trancier dance tracks, as opposed to the grooving techno and tech house of PDR. 

SHRR06 comprises three never before heard tracks on Disc 1, as well as four from the original label on Disc 2. Additions to the original music are; ANWAM, a 16 minute long acid ambient wormhole, Kik The Can, a pumping bassline driven piece of tech trance, and the early 90’s Italian-style Bedroom.

London based label and collective Cartulis Music announce their fifteenth release titled “Twilightexpanse” by New-York producer Ebeats. A reissue from the early noughties featuring a previously unreleased Ebeats cut plus two new remixes by the legendary Radioactive Man and FOLD associate Voicedrone. The title track is one near and dear to the spirit of Cartulis – an emotive journey through hazy breakbeats, sirens from faraway lands, dramatic narratives battling through each other in a nine minute long piece of music. The rest of the record swings from club-ready techno grooves to various shades of electro – dark and dubby or bright and punchy.

Ebeats - Twilight Expanse (Incl. Radioactive Man & Voicedrone Remixes) (CRTL015)

The "Trails Remix EP" is about stepping into the unknown, walking into misty fields where the future is still hidden. Each remix follows a different path, leading to an alternative reality. Let’s move forward side by side, trusting the paths we can’t yet see.

At its core is the original track, a cinematic ritual breakbeat featuring the evocative vocals of Priscila Sinaga and production by Voicheck. Fluid Matter gently opens the journey with a dreamy breakbeat, leading into Esgeem's high-energy shift toward a hypnotic, technoid space. Hatari delivers a dubby breakbeat interpretation, deep and textural. The final remix by M74 pushes the journey further with a weighty, dubstep twist. The release closes with a stripped-back instrumental version, spotlighting the track’s raw core.
