A boy from France, his love for the ocean, floating sounds and whispering voices: “Somewhere Underwater“ is the new musical project of Julien Agot from Limoges – now, in Munich, he is escaping the dusty and busy streets of the urban life with shoegaze, synthie, Slowdive-like harmonies, wave-pop and heartbreak melodies from 80s. With three other musicians “Somewhere Underwater” is creating complex compositions that thoroughly harbor the best of the last two decades and gently bring back a new sound to the surface.

I love music. I tend to listen to a lot of it. Usually that leads to me writing about it or making it.

Born in 1981 "Le Discoboulet" has been searching for records for more than 20 years now. He spent most part of his time on all four somewhere behind a table in a dirty corner, finding some never-heard-before private pressing record, that will blow the head of anyone hearing it. 

To become this kind of unsocial record nerd we must go a little bit back in time. There was a moment where he was really impressed by listening to Danielle Baldelli tapes from the 80ies. "That was a key moment for me and i started to collect all kind of weird library music and stuff that is kind of danceable".

Imagine you go through a labyrinth of different styles of music and he´s connecting all the weird ways into one. He´s always trying to catch the way to a melodic journey into your head. Sometimes when you´re in the right mood and listen to a set of him you can fly into a journey trough space and time. Feel free and enjoy it!.

Quand il est l’heure de rentrer se coucher, quand le maquillage a coulé et que les paillettes laissent place aux yeux cernés, Premier Métro entre en scène et nous embarque dans un univers joyeusement nostalgique.
À coups de sons rétro pop, les quatre musiciens mettent en musique cette irrésistible mélancolie qui nous cueille à mesure que le soleil se lève sur nos euphorisants excès.
Avec leur premier projet Train Fantôme, on retrouve le temps d’une parenthèse musicale de quatre singles nos émotions d’adolescents. L’énergie débordante du groupe est contagieuse, la régression, jouissive.
Travaillé avec le duo Arnaud Pujol et Roland Décembre(Superjava, Fernõ, Desmond Myers, Hadriaan, Fantastic Mister Zguy) et l’appui de Tristan Mazire (Sébastien Tellier, Grand Corps Malade)-, les quatre premiers singles du groupe paraîtront le 8 avril 2022, en attendant la sortie de leur premier EP prévu pour le deuxième semestre.
