Our last week’s show was a very enjoyable one with Duererstuben. The vibes were great. Duererstuben took us on a trip, starting with Ambient, Soul and Downtempo goodies to Disco and House tunes.

Well here we go. Another year and another Sunset Campout and again I was honored to play the closing set to wrap up the best party in the world Sunday on the beach. 
I did this one a little different and started with just some of my favorite slower jams and didn't really do much mixing for the first 30 min or so, but I got going after a few tunes and then it was off to the races. 
This one is bitter sweet as we lost our dear friend/brother/musical compatriot, Navid Izadi, one week to the day after this was recorded.

I made this mix right after Navid passed last year.  It helped me get through the initial shock and pain to listen to all his music and be reminded that he was so talented and his music so unique and diverse. It was amazing to go back though it all and think about the memories of hearing it for the first time and sharing it with him. But then it got really hard to hear his voice, it just hurt too much...

The last few months I've come back to playing his music in my sets and feeling positive that he will live on forever through his music. A year on from his passing I feel like it's time to share this mix with the world. I hope it helps all of us remember Navid and celebrate his life...

New focus to an artist whom I appreciate enormously, it's a bit like a craftsman or a jeweler, a gem-setter who creates sounds and arranges them with his owner style to arrive at landscapes with a sound texture of any beauty. Axel published on Pampa, Hivern discs, he is also a part of famous "Studio Barnhus", he also makes great remixes for various artists such as Acid Pauli, Maribou State, Sei A, Harald Bjork, Justus Kohncke, Tom trago, Bella Boo, Dreems, Longhair.
