We have now reached the point in the year again where the change of seasons takes place. Winter has officially arrived in the northern hemisphere and some snow has already fallen. For this occasion we invited the labelhead of @midgar_records known as @severja to interpret this transition musically. Besides refreshing sound design and stirring rhythms that wonderfully reflect the autumn sonically, he has also used timbres that make you warm around the heart in the cold season. We are very honored to feature this great storyteller for the current episode.

Ev Rymd - The Episodes 025 (July 11 2025)

Jackie Jeff makes a powerful return to One Of A Kind with his five-track EP Ancient Planet. A true journey through organic and progressive house, the release showcases his versatility and emotional depth across two standout originals: the atmospheric title track Ancient Planet and the driving, introspective Don’t Look Back.

On remix duties, Salt Lake City’s Donny Carr delivers a masterful progressive rework of Ancient Planet, layering groove and emotion in equal measure. Swedish producer sond takes Don’t Look Back into deeper and more experimental territory with two unique versions—one a hypnotic reinterpretation and the other a cinematic Ambient Revisit that closes the EP on a meditative note.

Together, the five tracks form a diverse yet cohesive package, balancing club-ready energy with immersive soundscapes, and marking Ancient Planet as another essential release in the One Of A Kind catalog.

Renowned Colombian producer Kamilo Sanclemente @kamilosanclemente , a key figure in contemporary Progressive House, presents “Astronauts Nightmares / Destination (Remixes)” on Univack — a powerful release featuring three unique reinterpretations of his original tracks. Three distinct sonic visions reimagine Kamilo’s cosmic and melodic landscapes from complementary and personal perspectives.

Veteran Maltese artist DJ Ruby @djruby takes “Astronauts Nightmares” into an acid-driven, epic terrain — perfect for peak-time moments on the dancefloor. Argentine producer Nicolas Viana @nicolasvianadj offers a different reading, where dreamy textures and rich harmonies intertwine with organic groove and elegance. Finally, Kebin van Reeken @kebinvanreeken-1 transforms “Destination” with a progressive and hypnotic rework, marked by refined sound design and sonic depth.
