Last summer, in preparation for the fall tour, I decided to re-master (and in some cases re-create) some Bassnectar classics. I went back into Timestretch & Wildstyle and gave each song special treatment to bring it into a 2014 state of existence: thicker, clearer, heavier, louder, and even more alive. We’ve taken these collections and paired them on CD with releases which had previously been confined to the digital-only realms, with bonus tracks and the new special deluxe RE-DUX! Newer bass heads will be able to enjoy some of this music for the first time, audiophiles can bask in revisiting their favorite tracks with updated masters, and collectors can fill some gaps in their CD discography with first time pressings of Take You Down and Freestyle.

August 23rd – August 25th - Romp in The Woods - A Psychedelic Campout

Location: 1hr and 30 from Denver – directions to be given 24 hours before the event

It’s been a bit since we’ve had a good ol fashion stomp in the woods and for that reason I decided to put a little something together to end the summer season propa! This is an all weekend event so come experience a full weekend of psychedelic bliss in the Forest. Friday will be a chill night of camping and chilling around the camp fire with the Psy Familia! The music will begin on Saturday August 24th mid afternoon and run until Sunday Mid Afternoon. We will journey through all the styles of Psychedelic EDM starting with Chillout ,Dub then into Breaks & Techno … then onto Progressive.. Full on.. Forest.. Dark.. Twilight… and back around to the morning bringing up the sunrise with some proper full on and tasty progressive sounds to end our journey.

What to Prepare for: Well kids the elevation of where we will be going ranges from 8500-9000 Ft and we are getting closer to fall by this time. Based on my experiences recently I would say its going to get down into the 30’s at night and probably 70’s during the day.

Night Preparations: Prepare like you are getting ready to go skiing or playing in the snow for maximum comfort . Sleeping bag ( one that goes down to 30 degrees is ideal) or just stay on the toasty dance floor. Plenty of Blankets, Heavy Jackets( Think winter time people), Layers, Layers… Gloves, Boots, Long Johns, Mugs ( for the Chai Station),

Day Time: It will most likely be hot during the day so prepare like you are going to a beach. Tank tops.. Shorts… Fans… Sunscreen .. Bug Spray…

Colorado is tricky weather wise and it can really go either way. It could be freezing or it could be perfect 70 degree weather.. only time we’ll tell. I want everyone to be as comfortable as possible to enjoy the full psychedelic trance experience.
