The band was formed in Rome in 2007 with their delectable blend of tropical-pop, psychedelic world, folk-punk and have since released 2 full-length albums and one EP, as well as having performed in over 400 concerts throughout Europe, including on national Italian TV and at the prestigious Primavera Sound festival, with their invigorating performances, a sangria mix of Os Mutantes, tUnE-yArDs, Paul Simon and Tom Ze’.

honeybird & the birdies sono una delle band più bizzarre e geniali presenti sul territorio italico. Partendo da una bislacca matrice di world music, il trio miscela sonorità brasiliane, indie-rock, psichedelia tropicale e punk.

E’ uno spettacolo coinvolgente, come una piccola orchestra, capace di dar vita ad un grandioso baccanale, riempendo di ﬁsicità e colori il palcoscenico. Frederick Paysden is a 21 year old singer - songwriter who is currently working on his first album. His retro 60s sound has caught the imagination and grasped the attention of many diverse artists of the musical panorama.
