Sonia Aimy skilfully blend her ancestral sonorities of her Africa with an intelligent and enjoyable Pop, with a result to offer the audience a music which at the same time is ancient and new, refined and catchy, intelligent and exciting. Her disc Mother is a human and professional result of hard work, of her 15 years lived in Italy, between her theatrical work and musical and the difficult condition of immigrant and foreigner. The title send back to the protective function and educative that every mother has towards her child, to hand down values such as respect, dignity, humility, loyalty; those values which Sonia exhort Africa, her land, to fix as a starting point for its own liberation. But in the disc sentiments and true life story of immigrant also find huge space, lost, the sense of distance from the land of origin, dilemma between the fear to remain where he/she is immigrant and the discomfort to return home. A disc, Mother, dense of contents, but at the same time contains heavy musical vibes and enjoyable..

Sonia Aimy combine avec brio ses sonorités ancestrales de son Afrique avec une pop intelligente et agréable, avec un résultat d'offrir au public une musique qui, au moment même est ancien et nouveau, raffiné et accrocheur, intelligent et passionnant. Sa mère disque est le résultat humaines et professionnelles de dur labeur, de ses 15 années vécues en Italie, entre son travail théâtral et musical et la condition difficile des immigrés et l'étranger. Le titre renvoie à la fonction de protection et d'éducation que chaque mère a envers son enfant, de rendre des valeurs comme le respect, la dignité, l'humilité, la loyauté, ces valeurs qui Sonia exhorter l'Afrique, sa terre, à fixer comme point de départ de son propre libération. Mais dans les sentiments du disque et histoire de la vie réelle des immigrants trouvent également un espace immense, perdu, le sens de la distance de la terre d'origine, le dilemme entre la crainte de rester où il / elle est l'immigration et la gêne pour rentrer chez eux. Un disque, ma mère, dense de contenu, mais en même temps contient lourds vibes musicales et agréable ..
