Overall streaming traffic is down for everyone down due to the mass volume of streaming out there, and as I’m seeing personally traffic is rocketing on my podcasts and Soundcloud as its much easier for people to listen again in their own time. For as long as this world situation hangs around, I’ll keep doing these live sessions as I love the feeling of us all gathering together for that one united weekly intimate party, gives me a feeling of those small underground dark clubs that we like to party at together…and WILL again soon.

I promised to take you down the rabbit hole this week, plenty of deep dark pounding hypnotic moments. As you know I took a small step away from the Turbo side to let me rediscover something more fresh, original and forward thinking and you’re now starting to get a small taste of what’s coming and where I’m heading. There’s more work to be done, but that power side of me is itching to come out, but as and when it does, I want it to blow you away into the sonic future and experience something you’ve never heard or felt before. Thats always been the ethos behind what I do, the DJ you know, the JOOF sound. Without your trust, your openness all this wouldn’t be possible to let me unleash sets just like you heard in JOOF Sessions. 

Unlike in clubs where I can see your reactions, I can’t sitting at home/studio. I’ve learned over these few weeks to not look at the comments as I just want to end up chatting with you all (😀) and I need to keep focussed unfolding my musical journey. This week we headed over to Toronto in North American time zone for our weekly JOOF healing sessions to allow our friends in North/South America to eventually have an evening with us. As you know I’ve been working hard to keep these weekly parties interesting for you and mixing things up a little, so this week I introduced a guest in the form of Tim Penner. I always play alongside Tim when playing gigs in Toronto so figured this is the perfect opportunity to replicate one of our shows, Tim played for the first two hours, you’ll hear a slight fade then I take ever for the final 2 hours.

I’ve been a professional DJ for over 30 years and acquired so much knowledge over this time, I’ve managed to keep a healthy career staying at the forefront of the specialist electronic music scene navigating all the hurdles this industry can throw at you. I’m a self confessed technology geek and pride myself on using these tools to perform seamless mixes, treating each set like a long flowing journey where you can’t hear the gaps.

For the first time in my career, I think its about time that I hand down all my technical secrets and knowledge to the next generation of DJ’s and in order for me to do this I’ve enlisted my talented colleague Tim Penner, together with our shared knowledge and experience we’ve crafted together a curriculum to arm you with these tools for your quest into the DJ world.

He found the scene in 2oo2 and were directly infected. 
In 2oo4 Paul start to play on small events as a dj and later (2oo6) he start to make his own music by producing. 2o11 he released his first album under the name “Luap”, followed from some ep`s and VA`s.
Arround 2o14 he found the project “Pago” and released the album “Nine sense” in 2o16.
After a break to refresh the ears and the soundstudio he is back with the new project “Sonic Dimensions”....
