Folcore Records is a label based in Barcelona (Spain), dedicated to publishing works of djs, musicians and producers who blend electronic music and earthly sounds. With more than 7 years of life, Folcore Records has published more than 85 albums of artists coming from all over the world, with a special focus on the new sounds of Latin America.

In the Folcore Records catalog you can listen to different genres and subgenres such as Global Bass, Tropical Bass, Nü World Music, Woombia, Cumbia Bass, Digital Dub, Andean Electronic Music, Neofolk or Folktronics, Electropical, Dumbia, Rub-A-Dumbia , Future, Juke and many more styles than any tag could describe.

Jaukem, stage name for Spanish DJ and producer Jaume Comajuan, has been spinning records and collaborating with various promoter crews since 2004. Among others, he participated in Dubcelona and Zensoul Meetings, iconic brands in Spanish drum&bass music. Currently, he is focused on producing bass music, juke and footwork. His first release came out in 2015, a track titled "My Time", created in collaboration with Mikel aka Manintheatic, and featured on the "Iberian Juke and Friends" compilation album (check Iberian Juke Bandcamp). In the following years, such an encouraging debut motivated Jaukem to put some serious efforts into improving his skills and developing his own sound, so he can raise the bar with each new release.

Jaukem, se inicia en la musica a temprana edad y desde entonces no ha dejado de practicarla, en su carrera musical destacan sus 12 años de guitarra y solfeo / armonía que le ayudaron a componer sus propios temas. Fascinado desde muy pequeño por diversos estilos musicales y las raíces y evolución de la música negra, del Blues al Hip Hop, Funky, la música Jamaicana ...
Influenciado por el movimiento DnB surgido en Barcelona a mediados de los 90, en medio de su evolución y en contacto con los pocos DJ’s promotores que había en Bcn por aquel entonces.
En el 2004 pinchando para "Essential DnB", los dos primeros meses en la sala "Sidecar" (BCN) y los 4 meses siguientes en "Plataforma" (BCN). En el año 2005 residente mensual en el club "Xpressing Underground".
Componente del colectivo "Dubcelona", representando, promoviendo y colaborando en sus eventos. Colabora eventualmente con "Traffic (Electronic Road Club)" y "Digital Colours Recordings", el sello digital de DJ Bu  en 2008 cuyos "new relases" consiguen estar en el "top 100" de las listas D&B de Beatport.
A destacar sus actuaciones en festivales como "Jungle Sound Clash All Stars", celebrado en Madrid el 7‐dic‐05 y "Drum’n’bass Meeting", el 15‐sep‐06 en Valencia (representando a "Dubcelona" junto a DJ Ma‐Z), que fué el primer meeting de DJ’s internacionales en España.
Ha compartido cabina con algunos de los mejores productores de DnB como Teebee, Noisia, Phantasy, Black Sun Empire, Syncopix..., entre otros DJ’s de la escena internacional y también colavora con los colectivos mas activos de nuestro país.
Ha colaborado con los colectivos "Salvage Oculto", "Apotheke crew", "BarXino", "Madrid Massive", "Surco", "Reboot", "Bassline Abuse", "Emot‐Records", "Tiknology crew", "Essential" y el antiguo colectivo "Darkfactory" (Sev), algunos de ellos ya disueltos, gracias a su versalidad musical ha ampilado sus estilos musicales y en estos ultimos años ha actuado en Zebra Bar en Bruselas, el Niu espai d’art, en el Buss music club (sala Razzmatazz) y este año 2014 en el Sonar Dia, representando un nuevo proyecto a nivel internacional que se llama Streaming Dj’s. 
Miembro‐organizador del colectivos "ZenSoul Meetings" y “Dubcelona”, ha colaborado con “Dj Bambooh” en el proyecto “The Great Macarra”, también es bajista y productor del grupo Señorgol, que combinan dub y electronica.

Una muestra del trabajo de los alumnos del curso 2017 en los Talleres de música electronica en Sant Just desvern

Mikel Zudaire, a.k.a Manintheattic, producer-musician.

Born in Lleida, he studies solfa and piano since he was 7, starts his own band when he was 16 and gets
soon fascinated by the intensities of groups like Sonic Youth or Deus. At 20, he buys a GrooveBox 303
and starts producing electronic music with raspy bases, soaking up the electro and acid sounds. In 2002
he starts being part of the Club Bakomba as a partner, together with Robert Lamart and Pep Gaya
(American typewriter). A small place where the German minimal techno is lived intensely. He plays in several
local bars in his city, carries out a tour along the Czech Republic where he takes part in the Underground
Garage urban festival in Prague and, finally, leaves his natal city to move to Bcn. From 2002, he
joins the NsT group, through which they claim the stylistic diversity in opposition to the increasingly homogenized
scene in Barcelona. He collaborates with Telenoika and Lectrovision, he spends his time in
festivals and raves, and obtains a monthly residence in the P23 and in the B-Side. Nowadays, he shares
set with Lectromind, developing sessions that go from the dubstep and the IDM to the electro and the
most sober techno.

In 2012, he starts materializing his personal project, Parabolic label, a record and audio-visual production
label based on the full coexistence between the electronic music and the visual.
With regard to his live sets, edu su tends to the breaks, electro and IDM, creating loaded scenes filled
with emotion and contrasts that go from the most synthetic rhythmic crudeness to a sonorous density that
invites you to be attentive to what is going on. Though of moderated bpm, it turns out to be forceful and
danceable
