This playlist will be populated with more 'collabs' each time they come about.  It is an overwhelming joy to see my words honoured by sonic renditions produced by these great and wonderful artists. 
In Hawk Caught a Rabbit the magnificent lyrics are by Jeff and I just added little quibs in between. In the Administrational Heart only the first two sections of lyrics are by me. For Équinoxe-moi and Around the Bend, Wivresse and I swapped poems and sonified each other's work. Concatenandus, Small Gifts, Trilobite Quandary and The Passing are open collaborations in which you can still participate. The title for 'the wolf in me ....' was made by Mark from the Re-evolution Café Orchestra,  replacing the poem's original title Aeglaeca. With Amanita Muscaria and Know Ware, I only held roles far in the background of gestation, but Jeff and Terry and everyone else were kind enough to give me a honourable mention. Thank you, brothers and sisters in sound. Later, the same course of composition came about with sun state, earth people, flying. Windover Hill by mono-orbit (former mono-lux) layers the words of my poem of the same name with those of a ballad by Maria Cunningham. Hanno has undergone some additional cleaning and enhancing at Rollo C's (muterial's) place. With the Holy Dumpling, I've only added some percussion. Adam was so generous as to allow me to add to his amazing originals Harmony and My Orders Never Came; the lyrics are all his on these two ...  just like Jeff's on Anthology .... where I had the honour of adding some sound into the mix. Would you go has some collaborators intentionally not named. KooJaa is all Kirk's invention, just rhe words and some of the voice are mine. At the moment, Vermillion Syncretism is taking shaoe in the studio of the Furico Music Team.

Narration: I wrote this poem nearly thirty years ago, embroiled in all the aftermath messiness of a split-up. It was first published in a collection of poetry  bearing a line of this poem in the title that was published under the pen-name 'sonogara' which I had used during that period - three copies sold ;-)

Jo and I teamed up on this tune. To rethink and remake it. Jo felt that this song could be taken as an Allegory for what is happening in the Ukraine and all wars. 
His lovely (Russian) Rav Vast Rhythms are meant as a poignant reminder That "Governments are the war makers."  ALL OF US are trying to survive our governments.

Jo also produced the haunting voicings and  the wonderful   water wind and birds from a natural recording.

These solstice eyes 
have learned to disagree
with the varnish and dies
of vain pleasantry

The ugly devices of self-serving goons

only to float their ego-balloons
have erased all the sky's visual graces.

This Solstice skin
has learned to shy away
from the deceptively Thin

this discount-priced vortex of dime-store illusion

In Greek myth, Pyrrha is the daughter of Epimetheus and Pandora. She marries Deukalion and, as a couple, they repopulate the earth after a mankind-eradicating, devastating flood brought about by moody, irritated deities. Rampant symbolism is the trademark of her story, setting free new hope after the tragedy and being protected and being held by a natriarchal vessel. There is no round-character-equivalent to Pyrrha in the more patriarchal myths of Utnapishtli or Noah. Deukalion (son of Prometheus) being her first cousin, a strong whiff of ancient incest (as institutionalized in Egyptian culture) cannot be denied.

notes: now, that SHELLF LIFE - professional musicians throughout - have eventually handed back my soundcloud account, here’s a little proof of amateur ownership. yes, there is no translation - not even an interlinear one - since this is one of those poems that sound like utter gibberish in English – which would be fine, if that matched the German level of meaning. the poem, though, ponders the human condition. there might be some kind of pun in this observation, I guess.
method: all sounds have been created on the Behringer Crave (via a Flamma stereo modulation pedal into Zoom r12), apart from the artificial voice called Katja (via Magix hub) and some distortion and vocoding etc in post production (with Audacity and Samplitude).

for telling truth and spitting frogs
and hailing hail and splitting rocks
and all the while the transsedential drifter
ate from his open can of beans upon the pitted fire

note by jo: for very real, material reasons, some people describe living entities as "stardust" and "all vibration". in our current, mentally largely dissociated state, it would make as much sense, though, to describe us as "stellar noise". It will take heartfulls of kindness and mindloads of understanding and nuances of acceptance of letting go and so much more to individually evolve into more harmonic states.

of fuzzy feeling and self-involved confusion made
and all that fruitless pro- and inhibition

Jeff and I both feel the grieve of letting go. In times like these, though, it might be wiser to move unpredictably. Our special thanks go to the memory of Carlos Castaneda, whose novels and gesta and concepts of reality had had quite an impression on our respective minds when they were a lot younger and infinitely more malleable. It's been a blast!

The photograph of the lovely bench taken by Jo reminds me of the conversations between Carlos Casteneda and Juan Matus while sitting on benches in city parks about Magic and human beings and the sheer wonder of this existence--the empty bench signifies their absence in a most poignant way and the final installment in this definitive journey-- and yes indeed it has been a Blast!:)

Narration: You might not have heard of her. Putting it coarsely and ironing out all the creases, Annette von Droste-Hülshoff is to Germany what Emily Dickinson is to the US. The enigmatic female in its most demure, most poetry-ridden, most romantically inoffensive incarnation. For some time, she had hoped to enter a different self by incorporating Levin Schücking as her significant other - she had moved to enter the Schücking dimension, so to say. Alas and for reasons manifold, this turned out to be another The-Revolutionary-Will-Be-Idolized-Just-Like-Lord-Byron tale. Living not all too far away from her 19th century  exile abode, I endeavour to pay homage to that encounter between the intravert poet and her outgoing shadow.

THE SCHÜCKING DIMENSION

Uriah had a riot
when the dumplings disappeared
trampled by the herds of lust, desire
lampooned by the nerds of rust and fire
gobbled up by fast food throats and street flock trucks
and someone farted, burped and said they wanted seconds
and that was when the trouble started and ursurped the mental landscape
and who’s to blame but some minions from that moppet, Alfred Rufus Smith
who to his simian bewilderment was headed back to earth
in that stolen starship that he stole again, restole and stole for just another time
(the way rebirthing beings rack up karma by incarnating ceaselessly)
from the only holy spaceport of that karmic spacelord on the potted planet
frowned upon by Gus and Stu and all the riders of experience on the nirwana bus--

This threshold space exists for those who feel like listening to some of my quite professional poetry embedded in rather amateurishly recorded but judiciously arranged sound, a modicum of purely acoustic work notwithstanding. SOUND, SPACE AND TIME

Tend your listening senses gently. Even though my general approach welcomes and embraces lo-fi concepts like the precision of spontaneously occuring imprecisions, headphones worth their membranes are recommended - unless you like your sounds flat, mangled, battered and helpless. You don't, do you? Be kind to these soundscapes.

STRUCTURING IMPULSE

Due to the nature of "poetry soundscapes", your listening expectations regarding traditionally structured "songs", sonically purified "raw wildlife soundscapes", keyboard-laden "ambient recordings" or voice-centered "readings" might not be met. You will find some of those in my list of /likes/. "Noise" is a recurring structural element like any other. This is what this sounds like - within its own rights, limitations, tangents and interconnections. Sonic structures. Silent stretches. Poetry emerges from the gaps between the ruts, seeps in from the undergrowth, sweeps down.
