Regresamos a Madrid para presentarles al próximo artista invitado, su nombre es David Meyer y es el encargado de firmar la decimosexta entrega de nuestra serie de mixes.

@davidmeyer1 es miembro y fundador de la plataforma From The Vaults, apoyando siempre a la escena local e impulsando el talento más underground. Además es residente en Phoenix Bar, y ha pinchado en salas como Berlín Club entre otras.

Sus sesiones son una amalgama de géneros que van del EBM al Darkwave pasando por el Italodisco, aunque en esta ocasión nos ha regalado un mix cargado de electro y ritmos rotos con toques de acid, algo que nos tiene poco acostumbrado y por ello estamos muy agradecidos.

Como siempre un placer compartir este Podcast con todos ustedes, y esperamos que lo disfruten.

Heinech is a DJ and producer from Barcelona who stands out for his high-energy, arpeggiated and acid sounds. He blends the groove of house with the power of techno and high doses of psychedelic, EBM, indie, breaks and disco.
He is the founder of the UNREC events and streaming channel, and is very active in Barcelona's underground scene. He has performed at renowned venues such as Razzmatazz, Upload, La Terrrazza, Freedonia, and Macarena Club in Barcelona, as well as at clubs across Europe including Kit Kat in Berlin, Dancetería in France, and Plan B in Malmö.
He has released music on SUW, Roam Recordings, Quixotical Records and Samo Records, and has shared the booth with internationally renowned artists such as The Hacker, Marc Houle, Timo Maas, Niv Ast, Colossio, Mystery Affair, Badwolf, Facets, Moderna and Edgar Peng, to name a few.

Aleito is a DJ and producer born in Andalucia, Spain.

With over two decades of experience, he's an artist who adapts to any setting. A lover of the '80s pop sound with powerful synthesizers, he feels most comfortable in the more classic house sound, always looking to the dance floor to move all types of audiences with his selection. Whether it's House, Nu Disco, Funk, Deep, Dark Disco, or Tech, he'll use all his experience in the booth to adapt all these styles to create a fun atmosphere for those attending his sets.

In his live performance, Aleito fills his set with arpeggiated sounds and good grooves, which he accompanies with his drum machines and synthesizers in a rigorous live setting, often improvising on the spot, which makes each of his performances unique.
He typically uses machines such as the Moog Sub 37, Moog Mother 32, Roland Tr-8, Novation Peak, Roland Sh 101, among others, depending on the setup at the time.

Aleito has shared the stage with talents such as 2ManyDjs, Dani Cassarano (Cadenza), Ninetoes, Cuartero (Sanity), James Rod (Golden Soul), Felipe Valenzuela (Cadenza), Cora Novoa, and Matthias Tanzmann. He frequently collaborates with the promoter "Noon Musica Moderna," with whom he and main artists Herman Priett and Iacob performed a set in the summer of 2023 at the end of the majestic German band KRAFTWERK. In 2025, he accompanied the British synthpop duo "PET SHOP BOYS" after their show at the Plaza de España in Seville.

In the live format, it is worth highlighting his performances for the renowned label "Vicious Live," performing a two-hour live analog show; his performance on "River From Seville," where he left no one indifferent with his show; and his collaboration with the production company KENOPSIA PROJECT, which produces sets for artists in abandoned locations across Spain.

As for his musical work, Aleito has collaborated on remixes for artists such as Cali Burton, Tiempo de Maldad, James Rod, From Beyond, Bosek, Myrddin, Javier Bustos, Panko, and Alvinas; and has released albums on labels such as Paper Disco, Love Attack, U're Guay Records, and Golden Soul.

Currently, together with James Rod and Azaria, Label owner of the Spanish nu disco label "Golden Soul Records" founded in 2015, where artists such as RAYKO, COPYCAT, TULIOXI, COPA TURBO, SOMERVILLE & WILSON, SLYNC, GET DOWN EDITS, DIM ZACH, MOLINAR, RIGOPOLAR, JARLE BRATHEN, PHUNKTASTIKE, JUAN SOTO... work and which will soon incorporate big names of the international nu disco scene into its ranks.

Ivan Smoka arrived on planet Earth the same year as the movies Alien and Star Wars, specifically in the city of Madrid. His family of music lovers exposed him to artists like Brian Bennett, Sex Pistols, Talking Heads, Imagination, The Who... and from the age of 3, Iván would play at being a DJ with his brother's vinyl records on a stool (there are photos of this).

He collected music from a young age, and at the tender age of 13, he and his private English teacher would religiously review the NME magazine every month. The explosion of British music in the 90s influenced him greatly, from power pop to electronic and trip hop, and by 17 he had his first DJ mixer. Later, he teamed up with Vasco Ispirian and Álvaro Cabana, and together they began exploring music production. Much has happened since then.

As a DJ and promoter, he has been involved in iconic Madrid clubs like Coppelia 101, Wonky, and Absenta, and has played at venues such as Sónar, FIB, Supperclub (Amsterdam), Café del Mar (Sicily), and Mono (Mexico City).

As a producer, he has unique projects: Gatos Negros, Disco Felino, and Superama 3am, which demonstrate that Iván in the studio is like Mr. Spock on the Enterprise; he understands the technology and communicates with it like a true expert. His work has received support from music gurus like Tim Sweeney and Bill Brewster, and among the artists he has remixed are Cycle, Ekkohouse, Kurt Kjergaard, and recently his partner and friend Thaddeus X, with whom he forms a musical duo.

With a 20-year career as a producer, he has collaborated with Thaddeus X, releasing tracks on major labels such as Mobilee, Akbal, Lucid Flow, and True Deep, among others; and also released music independently, on labels like Blindetonation, Nein Records, Emerald & Doreen, Burning Synths, Kyma Komplex, Mode 33, Rotten City, Dusk & Waves, Envy Music, and the cult label Minuendo.

David Meyer is a DJ based in Madrid. His influences range from EBM to Italo, Disco and Dark Wave. Synthetic melodies and deep basses are predominant in his sets, always accompanied by a dark atmosphere.

Meyer is resident DJ at Phoenix, located in the city center, and has also performed at the famous Berlin Club on the Switch sessions where figures such as Curses, Younger than Me, Nick Monaco and Damon Jee have left their mark.

David is currently involved in the recently born "From the Vaults" podcast, which already has numerous artists confirmed, and is looking to push forward the underground scene which spills with talent.
