So, from the flames I pulled her, from the maggots did I save

Long ago, in ancient times
People used to sit around fires in the forest clearings
And look up at the sky
The stars twinkled so brightly that the people said
That the stars themselves must be singing a song
Called "the harmony of the spheres"
Some strange celestial magic chanting
Which we on earth cannot hear
And yet which shapes our days, as well as our nights.
Perhaps you've heard the phrase
"It was written in the stars" -
Perhaps it was sung there also.
And people traced out patterns in these musical stars
And named them after animals that they knew
The Great Bear
The Giant Squid
The Dog
(Yes, some of these star names are a little bit odd!)
Let us go into the stars and twinkle with the animals
Hearing the different songs that different animals sing
Is there a unicorn star? A spider star? A cat star?
What would they sound like?
