Radio Gagga ist zurück und dieses Mal schicken wir euch nach dem imposanten Darkprog Set von unserm Homie Hefty, auf die Reise durch den dunklen, tiefen und treibenden Forest aus dem sonnigen Frankreich! Argaleth aka Adrien kommt aus Paris und ist seit vielen Jahren fester Bestandteil der französischen Psy Trance Szene und international wohl bald so bekannt, wie das gute Baguette mit Marmelade zum Frühstück. Mit den Labels Funky Freaks Records und Banyan Records an seiner Seite, hat er bereits etliche Tracks released, die auf Dancefloors in der ganzen Welt die Menge zum Trancen bringt! This episode Sonic Loom features BIOPHOTONS and his "Moral Compass" EP presentation. Biophotons is the solo project of Mike D., coming from Athens, Greece. Mike’s initiation into psychedelic music came in 2007, when he started attending parties and festivals around Europe. His interest grew into a productive engagement with this music, which culminated in the conception of the Biophotons project. Since then Mike has released several tracks in various labels, as well as his first EP: “Going Through the Motions”, on Urban Antidote Records. Meanwhile Mike has performed around the globe, using his experiences in the dancefloor of life as the inspiration for his unique brand of psychedelic soundform. After joining the Sonic Loom family in 2021, Mike develops his ideas into even more adventurous directions. This live set contains the upcoming EP from Biophotons, "Moral Compass". Let this compass guide you through another psychedelic adventure.

Sequoya is the project of Yan Krassowski, born in 1979 in Darmstadt, Germany. His love and passion for electronic music started back in the mid 90`s with the young age of 15, where he discovered the local techno scene. Early influences where DJ`s like Sven Väth or DJ Dag and first experiences in technoclubs, like the legendary Omen or Dorian Gray in Frankfurt a.M.
He started to spin techno tunes at small parties until the psytrance virus changed his musical direction. With a bunch of friends – the Gecko Crew, he organised a couple of small parties in his home area, and begann to play progressive/psytrance Dj sets under the alias Yan Gecko. After a couple of years, with lots of national and some international gigs, he joined BMSS Records and released a few tracks on different compilations.
Yans favourite was always rather deep and mystical sound. After some life changing dancefloor experiences at big festivals, he fell completely in love with forest psy and more nighttime orientated music­.
2012 the Sequoya project was born. The debut EP “Nomad” came out in 2013 on BMSS Records, 2015 the “Singularity EP” on Sangoma, followed by tracks on different Compilations and Labels. His music can be described as deep, flowing forest psy with a unique style of storytelling and remarkable sounddesign. While starting to play his Liveset around the world, Yan still loves to DJ as well- telling deep, twisted and rocking musical stories.

Dennis, aka DrURy NeViL, was born and grew up in Athens (Greece).
Dennis has been following psychedelic culture since the late 90s.

As the scene was evolving, he felt the need to express his vision.
So after a long fermentation period,
Dennis started composing his seriously groovy tunes,
under the name DrURy NeViL.
DrURy NeViL’s first release came in 2007 with the track “Borderlines”.
From then on, he has been constantly present in the scene,
collaborating with various labels, such as Mighty Quinn Records,
Tantrum Records, Insomnia Records, Sonic Loom Music and many others.
Meanwhile he has shared time in studio with many artists,
including Orestis, Petran, Freak Planet, Tromo and Antonymous.

Serena is a rapidly rising talent on the London Psytrance scene. She first encountered psytrance culture soon after landing in the UK in 2012 and it didn't take her long to start practising mixing. It has since become her biggest passion and she likes nothing more than to share her favourite music with others. Since her groovy debut performance at Dionysia Launch Party in December 2015 she has been elevating her profile by joining Urban Antidote Records. She also has expanded her potential into organising events and owns two different projects - The Peaking Duck Collective and Moon Rabbits. Serena has been getting bookings at great parties in the UK and abroad, having the chance to perform a B2B with Giuseppe of Parvati Records and she already had the chance to bring her enthusiasm and mixing skills at different psytrance festival such as Odysee festival in Berlin on NYE, Ufo Bufo (CZ), Masters of Puppets (CZ), CLH (FN) and Tantra festival (FR), Boomtown (UK).
Serena plays a deeply psychedelic yet, bouncy style of powerful darkpsy and forest.
