The build up to Mark Henes’ debut album ‘Crystallized Reflections’ has been a journey across the scope of American music, filled with soaring anthems, somber reflections, and a lifetime’s worth of memorable melodies. His latest single, ‘Tennessee Hills,’ is a rollicking country free for all, laced with old time fiddles and nostalgic banjos.

“It may be nice if we took the car out for a ride,” Mark sings to open the song. While it’s a fitting ending to an ambitious album, it works terrifically on its own, as Henes brings out the pleasures of everyday life with his breezy melodic storytelling.
