Transdisciplinary, diaspora-futuristic band and one of Berlin's most acclaimed underground Jazz collectives, known for inclusive live improvisations, in which moments of meditation and trance rise into heavy grooves. Sonic merges poetry and dance inspired by the cosmos and the ancestors.

When Beatmaker DasNichts met jazz singer Julie Karmark, two musical worlds met, which as Blue Thyme have created a unique sound. 

He came from hip hop sampling. She came from jazz. 
Together they make Blue Thyme.

They met in Freiburg, Germany, and after many years they would once again find each other in Berlin discovering a common urge to explore and mix their different influences into a music project.
