For this release, our artists wrote tracks that represent how the speed in which time passes can be affected by our perception of the environment. The fast, frantic soundwaves contained in this piece are all experiments with the listener's perception . Tempo Fonik is an invitation for you to indulge in questioning your senses. The time is ripe to reveal the Tales of the Sonic Loom.

Weaving in Looms was the art of our foremothers. Some generations later we set up Sonic Loom with the aspiration to revamp this old art and give it a new form, the form of sound. The Tales of the Sonic Loom is the most recent outcome of our efforts.

Inspired by the rhythm of the working loom, tweaking settings and knobs to create different musical patterns, combining a large spectrum of timbres and tempos of psy-trance in its colorful threads, involving intricate sound weaving, this compilation features various label artists, as well as several special guests.

Dimethyltryptamine, is a chemical compound that is found in the part of your brian called the Pineal Gland. The Pineal Gland is a pinecone shaped gland in the middle of your brain located in between your two eyes. This chemical compound is found in every living animal, human and plants.

Dimethyltryptamine is responsible for something that baffles people as well as is a common occurence everynight, aka dreams. During your REM (rapid eye movement) cycle of sleep, this chemical is released into the bloodstream. This is what causes you to dream, and have a sense of “being” while you are in that dream process. Why this chemical is relased during your REM cycle? That is one of the many mysteries surrounding this chemical compound.
