The next released lined-up on Beyond the Stars Recordings is a special treat! After 'City of Gods' our label boss tranzLift is back, back with a double-treat!

Next on Beyond the Stars Recordings we have a tag-team, who is brings to us not one but two tracks!

One artist is our label boss tranzLift, known for producing uplifting with some melody. The other artist is Six Senses, known for producing uplifting with some emotions! Together, we're going to have some emotional & melodious uplifting!

Track number one is 'Tigris'. From the start to the end, this track has a continuous uplifting flow! Six Senses' style of combining emotions with uplifting, can be evidently seen in this track. Soothing tune & thumping bassline can have a blissful effect when combined! The breakdown is the key atribute of this track; the pacificity and the subdued effect of the track, will leave you wanting for more!

Track number two is 'Euphrates'. This track has a techy intro that gradually progresses into melodious uplifting. The arps, the chill pads, the leads, the kicks, the basslines, all are the elements that are combined into a heavenly track. We are very sure that this one is going to leave you mesmerized!

This EP is inspired by a powerful inner journey, once experienced,
getting lost in a mental labyrinth.
Faced my own consciousness like it was a separate being.
At one point, found myself in empty space,
with only a distant flashing cross to guide me.

Later, I discovered that ancient cultures used labyrinths as
symbols of spiritual rebirth. The path inward and outward was
sacred, entirely within the mind.

This project is a tribute to that journey.

Ryota Arai is back on Pulsar Recordings to showcase his latest work to the global trance audience. His latest outing is called Sunset Deck and starts with a positively charged atmosphere, giving us just a hint of things to come. ARSANKHAN - BEDOUIN

It was a great privilege and honor for me to play at this year's Equinox festival. Thrown by TOUCH Samadhi, Equinox is one of my favorite psytrance festivals in north america. It occupies an amazing landscape, replete with mountains and lakes, and, being the oldest still-running psytrance party in the USA, it carries with it a legacy of experience and careful planing. In short, it's a damn good party.

Moreover, it was the first the first three-day psytrance festival I attended, many years ago, and, secondarily, playing at this iteration of the party marked my return to playing psytrance in front of crowds, having been sick with cancer for the last several years.

I was booked to play just after sunrise, in-between Axis Mundi, a psycore/experimental musician whose music I greatly respect, and Amanezca, a DJ/producer who, although a new face to me, had a reputation as a good morning-trance DJ. It was my job to bridge these styles - psycore and morning trance - at a festival which I hold in the highest regard, after not playing in front of a crowd in a few years.

To put it bluntly, I was scared shitless of disappointing myself, the crowd, or the festival organizers. 

I did no such thing. Many strangers, including other artists and staff, have approached me to tell me it was one of their favorite sets at the festival. My approach - to bring a bundle of darkpsy, forest, and old russian morning tracks, and fly by the seat of my pants with a vague plan in mind - had paid off.

I feel greatly renewed, emotionally and artistically, and I look forward to DJing at more parties in the future. Contact me if you'd like to book me, I play darkpsy, a smidge of forest, dark ambient, and old jungle/uk breakbeat hardcore.

Side note: The last transition in this set began to slide out of my control for a few seconds as the kickdrums began to get away from each other before I nudged them together. The urge to re-record the set when i got home was strong, but I dismissed it for two reasons. The first is obvious: authenticity. Re-recording the set to fix one silly transition felt vain and inauthentic. However, there's something else to talk about in this case. With the rise of computers and DJing software, it is my experience that there's no way to play out without someone looking down at you. If you play a perfect set, you're accused of letting the computer beatmatch for you. On the contrary, if you play an imperfect set, someone, somewhere; is casting derision on you for not being perfect. It is impossible to please the gear fetishists and digital elitists.

Thus, I have presented this set as it was played - proudly! - as a middle finger to ever psy elitist in the USA and beyond, and also as a testament to the lovely and imperfect human element that survives in every artform, laptop or not.

Infinite gratitude towards the entirety of TOUCH Samadhi, all dancers present at the event or hearing this recording now, and my psytrance families in Eldritch Crew and Absolut Shit Records.

It’s compiled by DJ Lloyd Positivist from Wales.
The music takes you on a journey that is reflective of the spectrum that is night time psychedelia today and contains contributions from the very talented members of the Damaru family and some very special guests who are at the forefront of today's very diverse and cutting edge night time psychedelic scene.

The journey starts off in the forest and atmospheric environments and via a smooth transition, gradually increases tempo and power to the full power night time dancefloor, and finally finishing off with some grinding hi tech, brain disassembly and a hint of humour.

We hope you enjoy the experience that "Abstract Construct" has to offer. We really enjoyed putting it together and we hope that you love it as much as we do.
