Techsound Records Extra series # 17: Scorpio rising

When I first started to play Techno back in the 90’s, way back i created Techsound, there were top UK inspiring labels like Punish, Player, Red Seal Records & Mastertraxx all of them with a mastermind behind, Mike Humphries. Time passes by and is just so cool to have those heroes that hooked you in to the music at the label now, that we can only feel pleased and proud to get this far.
Doing an album for such a legend requires all our attention and this is why for his original track -Scorpio Rising- we worked out 9 rmxs from other legends like Woody Mcbride and Andreas Kremer as also our finest boys at Techsound like: Alex Jockey, Ind FX, K.N.D., Droid, Krischmann & Klingenberg, Sonico and Wollows. If you think about the growth of the electronic scene in Latin America you should have to mention the name of Sonico aka Sonicore.

A political way of thinking, open minded music formation, endless marathon mixing journeys on almost all 4/4 styles mixed up with eclectic music production and sensitivity in any rave manifestation have grant him a solid reputation around the globe on several different music scenes from techno to hardcore. Sonico is in fact one of those guys who been working it out the right way for years and have never corrupted on his serious ideas regarding the techno scene, keeping low profile but high reputation status.
