Off beats, little stops in beat. But really good 

This is a mix I dropped last month for @begrime on their @subfmradio show - a special mix up of some tunes from one of London's most interesting labels: @keysound-recordings! This is definitely not a definitive selection from this label, basically it's just a mix of what I own on vinyl, but I think it's enough to give you a sense of their output over time; as it's for Begrime, it is tended more to the grime side of things, but there's definitely also some other stuff happening in here. This was recorded in one take with no prep, so there are one or two slightly rough moments, but basically I think you should enjoy this ... lots of great music on here!

Episode 364 features Vol 6 of our Stateside Series, with this episode focusing on Colorado and featuring Despise!!

When Despise agreed to do this mix, I knew it would be a good one, because Iv'e seen the legendary talent that she and Shoebox have brought through Recon out in Colorado and I knew that she had great taste in music, I was right, when you listen to her mix, you'll see!!

Despise’s mix starts off with an old school feel,  then everything goes dark and heavy! The mix switches up to a massive, amen tune and some halftime and footwork, fluidly moving from track to track! It then slides through some jungle and footwork, Despise then twists things dark and old school with the perfect combo of halftime, footwork, and jungle! The finale features a personal favorite from Dead Man’s Chest! Despise crushed this mix to bits and bits and bits, such a great mix!!!
