WHOAH kick ass vocal effect on that first line!  COOLNESS.  wow what a beautiful ballad.  AWESOME idea to bring in the soft 808 kit.  its reminding me a LITTLE bit of Brian McKnight because of it.  piano chops GALORE plus that beat.  kinda John Legend too.  nice changes I love bridges so much.  I find them such a GREAT element in a pop structure and you have built such a wonderful one here.  the way it sets back in - soft as a feather.  kick ass on the way out too with the effects!  the progressions to me are the meat and you are really amazing at inventing some novel and fetching ones.  again : comes with the chops!!!!!  BRAVO!!!!

"JOURNEY" is my new album, marking my second official release two years after "Landing...". The creation of the album started in Patras(Greece), continued to Athens, traversed in Poland for five months, and ended its adventurous cycle back in Athens in April 2021.

"JOURNEY" was conceptualized a short while after the completion of my first personal album, "Landing...". I imagined three different stages, a beginning, a middle, and an end. I started at the end with "Landing..." Now, I am in the middle with "JOURNEY.” The aim is to reach the beginning, the third, and final piece of this trilogy.

The album is an attempt to mimic life itself in multiple ways. A strange, but at its core, logical flow binds all the ideas together, inevitably driving you to the beginning over and over again. Although, there isn't always a middle and an end. There are times when we are at crossroads with several dead ends, and even though there is another path to be taken, we choose one of the dead ends as a resolve. In "JOURNEY's" case, a dead-end doesn't signal the “end”. But rather sheds light on the fact that there is always another path to be taken. An opportunity to meet the "middle" and "the end.” This is the reason the first tracks are more melancholic. They attempt to reveal a sense of immobility (a dead end). It starts in darkness and hesitation driven by an invisible force. Then, it leads you towards the light in the same way a walk alongside your childhood friends makes you feel light-hearted and alive. Just before the end, something special happens, as you return from the walk, and you enter your house, everything feels a little bit different from how you left it. It's transformative, like starting from the darkness to progress into the light. A way to get out of the dead end. This is "JOURNEY.”

The experience of producing the tracks which today make up "JOURNEY" felt like a whole lifetime. During its creation, I doubted myself countless times. But as the album came to its end, I reached the final piece named “LIFE.” It was a definitive moment where I was almost instinctually liberated from uncertainty and stopped chasing myself. The solutions to my problems were revealed to me. It was like a recognition that everything makes sense without knowing exactly why. A breath of relief.

The album was set in motion one night in Patra with the track “DIVER”. Based on this piece, the whole idea of a “JOURNEY” was conceived. "DIVER”” attempts to mimic a diver plunging into the ocean to explore it. Now and then, he ardently ascends for the oxygen needed to continue his venture, just as I had felt digging deeper inside me to unveil my soul and my feelings. What is pain? Who causes sorrow? When do joy and happiness arrive? These are subliminal in-between states that cannot be brought to light with only descriptive words.

Dive and Breathe.

I believe this is the best path towards solving a dead-end, and this is exactly what JOURNEY stands for."
