January 31st, 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the cult classic game "Gimmick!" releasing on the Famicom, so I've made a cover album of the entire OST, and a few extras!!

Title may be misleading since this is actually SPC700 (snes), but I've only used simple waves and sounds and limited myself to 4 channels just like the NES, so it still counts :P This was made for a SMW music contest as a round challenge (which was to make faithful 8-bit recreation of non 8-bit song). What, another one of these so soon? Guess who got bored at work this time. :U

While I could put up a Sonic 1 mix as well, there's no real point seeing as the only difference is the drum track so.. yeah, that's out of the picture for now, although I do have a version with Sonic 1 drums. Maybe I'll do a Sonic 3D one next...

Again, this is playing off of an emulator, not through VSTs in something like FL Studio.

Sonic Mania Invincibility (Sonic 2 Mix)

NiGHTS and Reala, a classic rivalry! It's so tragedic that they had to invent a word just to describe how tragedic it is!

I just really love the NiGHTS series and wanted to cover something from it. I thought about doing Dream Dreams but... eh maybe some other time.

The sprites are from Sonic Pinball Party. They're recolored to fit the NES palette, and Reala's is an edited version of NiGHTS's that I made.
