With “The Twilight Hotel” Billy begins with an underground style hypnotic techno track that is melodic but at the same time goes through rough rhythms and grooves, challenging the most demanding dance floors.

He then goes deeper into hypnosis with “Abduction Room” and makes a mind twisting construct full of ethereal sounds that are prone to enable the quantum leap.

Finally, calm and beauty with “Mimi’s lament”, played on the piano with tones that last forever.

It is with great excitement that Soniculture presents a new artist on its catalog. Coming from the Ukraine, it is none other than Kichi Kazuko, who represents Kyiv’s underground electronic scene through her promotion platform and crew Dots and her label Kazuko Music. She is an avid techno lover who enjoys producing using modular synthesis, so you can expect full and profound sounds humming through the speakers, captivating your senses and welcoming you to her domain.

The EP begins with “Fixation on the Darkness” which is fast and hi-tech, very hypnotic, with trance sounds, quickly taking hold of your mind.

“Mode” is straight old school techno, which is also one Kichi’s favorite style. With a strong bassline it is aimed for the underground, pure and simple,

Pure hypnosis comes with “Acid Drops”, an outstanding track that matches perfect drum arrangements with basslines that create a sudden state of bewilderment and then take you places when adding the acid layer that builds up with time.

Finally, “Bravery” is a full on techno track with a strong bassline that has an uplifting element to it. Good for those joyful moments.

Billy Dalessandro, the prodigy from Chicago, now based in Montreal, is always one step ahead, showing us the path for the future, with his interstellar electronics, He has been doing this already since 2002 with his early releases on Force Inc. when he began revolutionizing techno, bringing innovative elements into the mix, making every new release of his a new landmark.

And now here is “The Delta Code”, Billy’s new album, which is his most experimental one until now, dwelling into the deep realms of electronics and developing complex modular patches. There is some 4 by 4 action in “Human Decisions” and “Blue Kodiak Attack” and nifty breakbeat on “Flirting With Fluidity” and “Electro Ghost From Outer Space”. Then we have the beautiful and uplifting “Long Live The Flux”, the rest going into very experimental directions, culminating in the superb “In The Eyes Of Amun”, which cinematically throws a huge load of intensity, leaving goosebumps and provoking chills.

All of this is being tailored to be integrated in a very original live performance, with a lot of degrees of liberty, leaving room for improvisation that is going to be the basis of the shows that Billy will be presenting in the future.

Soniculture presents a project coming from the veteran artist Aaron Peacock aka Ocelot and Vector Selector that will revolutionize the electronic scene as we know it. Mista Pista presents a whole new genre stealing heavily from techno, breaks, bass music and even gabber. We shall call it: NU-SKOOL-SWING.

It celebrates strong emotions with a relentless physicality smashing the icons and moving away from the norm, inspired by madness, experience and pure creativity.

The tracks of this first EP are burning and show the wide spectrum of NU-SKOOL-SWING. “How Does It Make You Feel?” drops the broken beats and bass along with a mysterious dark voice that takes us on a ride to the unexpected. “The Retina Song” comes with very high BPMs, gabber style, and full of energy and ever evolving acid synths that are hypnotizing. “Blow Hard” strives away from the typical 4 by 4 techno beat and adds some unusual swing elements that make the experience much more interesting. Finally, “Boots On The Moon” is the one that keeps moods and feelings in the right place with a plethora of instruments and sounds, including guitar chords that are ecstatic and blissful.

So here you have it. A moment in history. The first official NU-SKOOL-SWING release ever.

Beginning with “Test The Lightspeed Module” there is a deep feeling of being entranced with profound beats and nifty sounds that stimulate all of those feel-good senses.

“Ride the Demon” is more wicked, great for those energetic techno sessions, hypnotic, with a heavy bassline, perfect for the most demanding dance floors.

With “Coastal Drive, Coffee and Electro-Jazz” the title says it all. A mix of techno with a jazzy piano and travelling melodies resulting in a fun, easy going and catchy track.
