Soniculture presents a project coming from the veteran artist Aaron Peacock aka Ocelot and Vector Selector that will revolutionize the electronic scene as we know it. Mista Pista presents a whole new genre stealing heavily from techno, breaks, bass music and even gabber. We shall call it: NU-SKOOL-SWING.

It celebrates strong emotions with a relentless physicality smashing the icons and moving away from the norm, inspired by madness, experience and pure creativity.

The tracks of this first EP are burning and show the wide spectrum of NU-SKOOL-SWING. “How Does It Make You Feel?” drops the broken beats and bass along with a mysterious dark voice that takes us on a ride to the unexpected. “The Retina Song” comes with very high BPMs, gabber style, and full of energy and ever evolving acid synths that are hypnotizing. “Blow Hard” strives away from the typical 4 by 4 techno beat and adds some unusual swing elements that make the experience much more interesting. Finally, “Boots On The Moon” is the one that keeps moods and feelings in the right place with a plethora of instruments and sounds, including guitar chords that are ecstatic and blissful.

So here you have it. A moment in history. The first official NU-SKOOL-SWING release ever.
