”Navigating this web of intrigue takes a certain personality – where rules are meant to be broken. Meet Rogue, for the Dark Zebra, an adrenaline-fueled soundset collection built for thrill-seekers and those not afraid to delve into the heart of the shadowy unknown.

Rogue draws heavily from suspenseful, action-driven scores. Sometimes subtle, often times brutal, but always with a knack for the unexpected. Rogue is the perfect sound palette for painting pictures of high-stakes car chases, adrenaline-fueled escapes, or heart-pounding stealth missions in the city's labyrinth of shadow-laden backstreets.

The focus of this set centers around fast-paced rhythmic elements from distorted, harrowing basslines and blistering atonal percussion loops which punctuate the silence. These elements are accompanied by gripping sound effects, warped pulses and distorted sequences, dramatic impacts, and captivating drum hits, as well as moody cinematic synths, pads, and atmospheres.

Rogue captures the intensity of modern scores, delivering a gritty, action-driven, and immersive cinematic experience. Influences include Atli Örvarsson (Silo), Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow (Archive 81),  Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard (John Wick Chapter 4), Gustavo Santaolalla (The Last of Us), and last but not least Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch 
(Bladerunner 2049, Dune).

The installation of the set is a 1-click install via drag & drop: Simply grab the soundset file and drop it directly onto the user interface of Zebra, and the soundset along with all NKS files, will be installed. Each preset makes heavy use of Zebra's X/Y pads and the modwheel for maximum sonic potential. Complex modulation routings ensure lively, organic and vibrant timbres. Generous amounts of headroom are held in reserve so you can craft in confidence.

Keith’s calling as a musician began at the tender age of five, when he  was gifted a toy organ. He promptly began playing renditions of the commercial jingles heard on television, and from there progressed to studying movie soundtracks. Keith’s realization of the profound effect music had in connecting with an audience launched him on his journey as a  composer.


Keith's compositions thoughtfully blend orchestral and electronic elements to create an emotionally enticing soundscape, while his gift for creating thematic music with captivating melodies enables the listener to travel on a personal  journey through the ebb and flow of each piece.

A graduate of the UCLA Extension Film Scoring Program, Keith studied  under notable film and television composers and industry professionals.  After completing his studies, he was awarded an internship with The Society of Composers and Lyricists Annual Mentor Program and selected as one of only 15 participants in the annual ASCAP Annual Film Scoring Workshop. Keith was later featured in Music Connection magazine in an article focusing on the diverse backgrounds of the group.

His album of New Age music entitled, "Etc...", was released through Bay Area record label Noir Records, which led to a collaboration with the  composer for the independent film, Park Day, for which Keith provided additional music. This film went on to win the Audience Award at the Urbanworld Film Festival.

Keith also scored the short film, The Showdown, which received the inaugural Triple Play Award for Best Technical Integration – Original Score at the Long Island International Film Expo.

While still passionate about writing New Age compositions, Keith also continues to work with music publishers and trailer house companies, where his music can be heard in various mediums.

3KM (Brett McPherson) has been involved in the Trance and Hard Trance DJ scene in London since the early 00's. Now currently living back in his hometown of NZ, Brett recently started producing for himself mid 2020. He very rapidly picked up the art of producing and his debut release "Monsoon" reached number 1 in the Beatport Trance Release charts in January 2021. 3KM's style is still evolving but expect to hear a mixture of dark, moody, with uplifting riffs and hooks.
