Produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder, Wasting Light was recorded entirely on analog tape in the garage of Grohl s home in California s San Fernando Valley. The no computers/no software back to basics approach has resulted in arguably the strongest and most cohesive effort of the band s 15-year-plus career: From first single Rope to the frenetic opener Bridge Burning to the beautifully bipolar These Days to stunning guest spots from Bob Mould ( Dear Rosemary") and Krist Novoselic ("I Should Have Known"), Wasting Light is a singular triumph: a band that s headlined arenas, stadiums and festivals the world over stripping itself down to the bare essentials and coming up with a world class band s finest hour.

En 2009 la banda lanzó su primer disco GoodbyeVictorian Houses (Happy Garlic), material que fue producido por la banda y grabado por Miguel Ruíz en Iglhu Studio. Dos años más tarde la banda regresa con su nuevo álbum titulado Everything is a Foreign Language to Me, el cual estará disponible en tiendas físicas y digitales en octubre de este año.
Antoine Reverb ha compartido escenario con bandas de la talla de Camera Obscura, Liars, Dan Deacon, Neon Indian, Sr. Chinarro, entre muchos otros. También se han presentado en distintos lugares de la república, lo cual les ha ganado el reconocimiento por presentar directos memorables.

Recently recorded and mixed with Tame Impala's Kevin Parker in Perth and at her grandparents' beach house in Cavalière in France, "Crystallized" is the debut material from Paris-based Melody's Echo Chamber, a kaleidoscopic fusion of psych rock and warm hypnotic pop, fusing her influences of Pram and Spiritualized; Olivier Messiean and Robert Wyatt.

"Crystallized" will be released on 7" via Fat Possum later this year. She will also be touring the US this Fall.

Raleigh, NC’s Gray Young is the ultimate musical paradox. Somewhere in between soaring, atmospheric riffs and nuanced, delicate melodies, the band navigates extremes like a weathered mountain climber. Gray Young’s songs seethe with intensity and susceptibility, emerging in Technicolor, wielding energetic bass lines and intricate chord progressions that flow seamlessly. Unlike artists whose instrumentals are merely bolsters between hooks, Gray Young’s are a constant push and pull between calm and chaos, and every climactic swell bears the power of a riptide.

With the release of their first album, Firmament, in 2009, the band quickly became known for the roiling tension of their musical creations, delivering build-and-release epics in three to four minute sprints rather than marathons. Their second release, 2010’s staysail, was a departure from their previous effort, reigning in some of the band’s melodic squall and allowing the vocals to play a more prominent role.

The secret to the band’s sound can be found in the delicate balance struck between its parts. Singer/guitarist Chas McKeown’s shimmering guitar and haunting vocals wrap around bassist Dan Grinder’s melodic, driving basslines, while the propulsive attack of drummer Jeff Dopko lays a foundation upon which to build. Gray Young’s songs are created as a unit – each member’s contribution equally vital to the atmosphere the band creates.

With its new album, Bonfire, Gray Young is at its fullest and most focused, returning to the mostly instrumental mesh of mood and melody that made the band’s early work so promising. But this is no retread. This is the sound of a band moving ahead into exciting territory with an assured sense of what they are capable of. Bonfire, with its nimble balance of U2 structure and Explosions In The Sky ambiance, is a dynamic effort that highlights the band’s ability to create a mood and expose all of the complexities within. This is Gray Young at their best.
