✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

My musical influences started in the 80s and eventually I started djing in different clubs back then.
My style I would say is very experimental I like to play different genres of music in a mix:
This can range from Indie Dance and Organic House to Progressive.
But my favourite music genre I would see in the electronic area ... i.e. Indie Dance, Dark Disco and Melodic House.

✔️ What do you think makes a good afterhour?
An afterhour can take place anywhere, as long as people are having fun and the right music is playing.
From a chill sound to a harder beat ... ... that's how you can still step on the gas even at a late hour.

✔️ What thoughts would you like to share with us about your mix?

First of all, I'm very honoured to do a mix for your site ..... I think you have a very diverse selection of mixes on your site. I'm very happy to be able to present my exclusive mix here, and I hope people enjoy my mix.

We are happy to welcome @doubljuh for the next part of our spotlight series!

At the age of 14 the Doubljuh started to experiment with his first DJ setup until mixing music with vinyl became his second nature. His first attempts were characterized by Chicago House (Bad Boy Bill, Richard Humpty vission), Ghetto House/Booty House (Dj Funk, Dj Deeon) and especially Funky Disco House (Boogie Pimps, Armand van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Olav Basoski). Early on a varied House style with groovy melodies and catchy vocals arose. He impressed his audience first as a newcomer of the Tectrex Crew and performed as Resident DJ in the show „Rookie Freaks“ via the Tectrex Webstream. His opinion about electronic music fundamentally changed in summer 2013 after his visits to legendary festivals such as Fusion and Kazantip, which included a short performance. He got to know and love melodic Deep House, which strongly shaped his music style since that time. Now the familiar groovy House beats take turns with soft parts and enchant the audience with frisky melodies of the violin and the piano. This results in fresh sounds, which are still highly characterized by catchy vocals. In 2015, he founded the DJ collective "deep stories" together with Kork, which is very successful with its podcast series on Soundcloud thanks to its innovative concept. He is currently on the road in Hamburg and coclogne with the deep stories showcase.

Here are modern urban myths that stand the test of time and are considered unspoken truths. Nowhere written down, they are passed on from mouth to ear and only exist in people's heads. They persist and are part of the respective culture.
There are also stories like this in the electro scene that fire people's imagination. The parties at Warehouse Chicago in the late 70s are considered the mother of all house parties. Animalistic scenes were said to have taken place there while Frankie Knuckles rained down his marathon sets on the crowd. Pure ecstasy rippled through the bodies of those present and the crowd was no longer made up of individuals, but was one big energy-filled being that had developed an uncontrollable life of its own. A movement emerged that anyone could belong to and which was referred to as "Jack" in later tracks. The urban legend of Jack is still used in tracks and mixtapes today. Of course, this is just one of many myths that have developed in electronic dance music.
Perhaps with the deep story of Pia Pan & Heyoka we will be able to create a new modern myth that will bring people together again and let them melt into ecstasy. A mixtape that fires people's imagination and will be the subject of many myths in the future.
