Uphoria is the moniker of Olivia Gorgis, a revolutionary Australian DJ, who is one of the brightest upcoming stars on the techno horizon. Olivia was born in Greece and raised In Australia where her musical journey began. Her techno sounds cross boundaries with melodic beats and rolling basslines incorporating shreds of euphoric vocals. Integrating her love for all genres, she brings the feeling of music to life with her combination of songs.
Olivia's passion was ignited from the age of 14 when hours of music research became a thriving hobby and then progressed into a lifestyle after feeling the electrifying experience of her first music festival. Immersing in many different electronic genres, both hard and soulful, Olivia was taken away by the power music has to bring people together and produce happiness. She believed music could change the world and bring peace and harmony that she has experienced on dance floors, which is when she decided she wanted to be a part of this magic.
Her incredible talent and willingness to learn has driven her to keep sharing music, in the form of DJing. Olivia’s ultimate goal is to perform at the iconic Rainbow Serpent Festival, where she can bring people together and be able to bring joy to the lives of everyone listening through music.

Gate Experience, one of the important faces of the underground in Los Angeles, and performed
underground in Los Angeles. By blending vocals with futuristic elements in his productions and
combining these sounds with his own signature elements, he takes his listener on a deep
journey. Combining multiple melodic styles, it uses groove rhythms and euphoric sounds to
invite audiences to dance with its sounds. As a producer, he is expanding his work at home and
abroad.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Hey everyone, welcome to the 2020 year-end edition of Undercurrents - it's a bit late as there was a bunch of other content to share before :)

It was spring 2019 when I first discovered Alexander Church and his   productions quickly found a regular place in many of my sets. Fast forward to early last summer when the invite came to collaborate on a new EP - a chance to do vocals for the first time for a project with real depth. It would become Configurations 12, my debut 4-track EP on @configofself just released on Dec.14th. 

Making everything from melodic soundscapes to industrial techno under a range of aliases over the last two decades, Alex draws inspiration from his own deep thinking, academic teachings, and passion for visual media. With his newly formed duo, Common Factors, alongside frequent studio partner @jameswelsh, he just launched the new sub-label Life Scripts January 11th, with the focus on experimental, ambient, electronica and breakbeat sounds. A good taste of which you'll hear in this mix. It's a fitting ending to a crazy year of challenge yet also one of new beginnings.
