For my upcoming Australian debut, this 03:hr:33min long audio journey gave me the opportunity to play with energetic dancefloor music, progressive elements, melodic vocal tracks, and leftfield indie vibes, and of course a few tracks accompanied with electric violin to describe the musical story. Playing such an extended set, I felt like hiding some unreleased music in between this never-ending romance with sound - so enjoy it with a good pair of speakers and casual sense of humour! Stefan Muchte is a DJ based in Berlin and member of the collective "Insel der Visionen". Raised in Würzburg, he made his first experiences in electronic music in Munich, where he played at well-known clubs as Harry Klein, Bahnwaerter Thiel &amp; Bob Beaman. With his diversified style for DJ sets, sometimes of abstract origin, he creates a symbiosis similar to the situation on the dance floor with perfectly balanced tracks. No one can promise in which direction it will continue, crossovers between rolling deephouse and oriental breakbeat are not unusual with this man.

After moving to Berlin in 2021, his style direction has changed more and more to ,,IndieDance’’ and ,,DarkDisco’’ and still counts as his main genre today. He loves the variety in his sets, but above all the influence of special elements, always underlined with an addiction for Rhythm &amp; Groove. No matter where this all-rounder stands at the decks, the crowd is dancing. Much to the delight of people who are discerning and open to new emotions on the subject of music.

Ich öffne meine Augen und nehme mit vernebelten Verstand den blauen Himmel wahr. Mit meiner Handfläche ertaste ich das satte Grün unter mir. Als ich den Kopf drehe erblicke ich, mit immer noch leicht verschwommenen Blick, zappelnde Gestalten. Sie bewegen sich rhythmisch hin und her. Wohlige Wärme durchströmt meinen Körper, als eine strahlend weiße Wolke den Platz für die Sonne freimacht. Langsam setze ich mich auf und meine Synapsen werden weiter mit Eindrücken geflutet. Aus verschwommenen schwarzgrau wird pfauenfeder-bunt. Lachen und wilder Tanz bestimmt die Szenerie, die umrahmt wird von elektronischen Kompositionen. Alle scheinen so frei und unbeschwert zu sein. Es herrscht eine Schwerelosigkeit des Seins wie bei Kindergeburtstagen aus früheren Zeiten. Die Umgebung ist detailverliebt geschmückt und die Teilnehmer dieses fantasievollen Kongresses scheinen dem Alltag nie begegnet zu sein. Voller Freude erhebe ich mich und begebe mich ins Getümmel.

Bassi J, Italian by birth, turned into a global citizen through his wanderings. He started mixing in Hangzhou, China in 2012. He banded together with a group of students and created UAi - Urban Art Ideas – a concept of parties that would involve both art & music. These parties became popular and ended up being spread across several clubs in the Hangzhou area. With a great ear for music, his thoughtful, layered DJ sets are embedded with meditative and deep nuances – the end result is just as suited for a nightclub dance floor as it is for a private party. Although his music production has varied througout the years, the core message still remains the same: sparking soul-alike people through music.

The journey to the techno dreamland called Stroga Festival started at the tender age of 13. Celebrating at a techno festival at such a young age?! Sounds crazy, but that's how it is. The numerous impressions fascinated Paulus and never let go.

Little by little the interest to stand behind the decks and enchant the party people with beats grew. This dream came true at the Stroga Festival 2016, followed by gigs at Waldtanz Frauenhain, Electrozid, Kosmonautentanz, der BRN, im Sabotage, Club Paula, Sky Club Leipzig and Sektor Evolution. Recently he also became part of the Pangaea Jungle Circus Gang in Dresden.

With a big grin on his face, he likes to play dark, driving, straight, playful and sometimes melodic techno. It needs variety but must always remain danceable.
