This is also a Set for Ofir - Magic Vibes - a DJ from Israel who I am friends with since a few years. He created an amazing group: Sharing the vibe - where Ecstatic Dances and Downtempo Music is shared as Medicine. Some of my favorite DJs - such as J. Pool, Spiritito, Yonder, Apukuna or Don Juan Mezcal - are part of it and share their music sets & medicine there.

Now is the 2nd Birthday (2 Years Vibes-sharing) and we want to celebrate this. I dedication of this and the whole family, network and movement behind this group and all over the world I recorded this set. And I share it with you in honor and gratitude.

🧚🏼‍♀️Welche Artists und DJs inspirieren Dich?

Township Rebellion verfolge ich seit 2016 und bin immer sehr gespannt auf die neuen Releases, ihr Style ist sehr einzigartig.

Außerdem liebe ich die Tracks von Sainte Vie, seitdem ich das Burning Man Set 2019 gesehen habe bin ich ein richtiger Fan von seinen Produktionen geworden.

Als DJ auf jeden Fall Solomun, er war einer der DJs die ich von Anfang an verfolgt habe, besonders die 5h Sets vom BPM Festival México, leider findet dass nicht mehr statt.

🧚🏼‍♀️Wie viel Zeit nimmst du dir in der Woche für Musik?

Sehr viel, durch KataHaifisch (Podcasts & Label + Premieren Anfragen) das kostet alles viel Zeit, wenn dazu noch die Podcasts kommen die ich selber gestalte (Musik Diggin) und SoundCloud Nachrichten beantworten oder allgemeine Anfragen, würde ich auf 20-25h schätzen, obwohl auch nicht jede Woche identisch ist, kommt auch immer drauf an was gerade ansteht an Releases oder auch eigene Veranstaltungen.
Trotzdem ist es das beste Hobby was man haben kann❤️

🧚🏼‍♀️Welches Talent hättest du gerne und warum?

Da ich seit diesem Jahr endlich die Zeit und die gewisse Neugierde entdeckt habe fürs produzieren, hoffe ich dort noch ein bestimmtes Talent zu entwickeln, ist aber auch alles eine Frage der Zeit, weil man immer wieder neue Sachen (z.b Plugins & Ableton Features) entdeckt die einen dem Horizont erweitern können und es echt schwierig ist erstmal seinen eigenen “Style” zu finden.

GORO is a Netherlands-based DJ and Producer. His music is influenced by ethnic and mystic elements combined with meditative melodic tunes. Through hypnotic grooves and minimal colorful effects, Goro aspires to transmit the same feelings of love, unity, and freedom to his audience.

Lev Tatarov draws inspiration from various styles to create organic and deep music. His sound is very heavily percussive and melodic, going across a variety of genres.
For Lev, electronic music is a revolution - not just in the sound - but the whole paradigm of what music can be and what can be music. The encounter with synthesizers, samplers and the digital audio workstation changed his life and the way he views being an artist. He had a long time to develop his sound and his creations live in the spectrum between stellar up beat and laid-back downtempo organic beats. Inspirations come from everywhere, from 80’s synth pop and metal, through indie rock and world music, all the way to psytrance and and a variety of electronic sound spectrums.

Chris Tiebo was captivated by electronic music as early as 1990. In 
1996, he decided to become a DJ to share this passion with the public. 
After years of hard work, he secured a residency in a club, gaining 
valuable experience.

Over the years, his desires evolved and the urge to produce his own 
music emerged! He oriented himself towards a downtempo, organic house, 
and techno style by combining ethnic sounds, thus expressing his very 
personal way of experiencing music and feeling the energy it emits.

In 2019, he began collaborating with recognized labels such as Pipe and 
Pochet, Cafe De Anatolia, and Lump Records, which allowed him to reach a 
broader audience.

Today, Chris Tiebo is an accomplished DJ and producer, working on new 
projects. Depending on the ambiance and the venue, Chris can transport 
his audience on a soothing sonic journey with a chill set for a sunset, 
enriched with traditional world music sounds, or electrify a crowd in a 
club or festival with a more energetic set exploring the sounds of tech 
house, afro house, or melodic techno.

Since 1990, Chris Tiebo has been passionate about electronic sounds starting with New Wave and then Techno. In 1996, he decides to become a DJ to be as one with the audience. After few years of hard work, he becomes a resident in a club, then everything came together very quickly until sharing his passion on radio. As years go by, his desires evolves and the wish to produce his own music imposes to him. However, through this long learning process, his second passion, photography, brings him the opportunity to work in one of the best club in the world. Chris Tiebo seizes it and works a season in Ibiza at Space which enables him to broaden out musically and technically speaking by meeting the best DJs on the planet : Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Chemical Brothers, Dubfire, Nicolas Jaar, Laurent Garnier, Soul, Oxia, Miss Kittin, 2ManyDjs, Felix Da Housecat, Beyer Adam, Chris Liebing, Jeff Mills, Sasha, Slim Fatboy, Umek, Carl Craig, Sven Vath, Nina Kraviz, Josh Wink ... and that's inspired by all these influences that today he captivates us with his music !

Amirah (Live at UNICEF Fundraiser)

Dear friends,
After a long time of hibernation it is time to reappear on the surface of the internet, I guess.
As many of you have been asking, I made a recording that continues the story of my „Travel Diary“, which started over two years ago.
So I am very happy to finally share „Travel Diary Part 2“ with you today!
It consists of tracks I produced over the course of this time, but never released or even used them for live playing. So now I am taking the opportunity to let them „out of the box“.
I really hope you enjoy it and to catch some of you at one of my upcoming summer shows!

Also I wanna take the chance to thank you all so much for your support over the past year, even though I had no musical output! 
It reminds me of the famous words by the poet Hafez, who said:

-  Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth “you owe me“.
Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky.  -

Travel Diary (Part 2) by  JAVID  *Liveset*

In einer Stunde um die ganze Welt.

Tief ins uns schlummert eine Sehnsucht. Ein Funke der mit Tätigkeit befeuert werden will. Die Rede ist von Fernweh, der Lust am Reisen. Meist wird dieser Wunsch durch ein Erlebnis in unbekannter Umgebung oder durch die Monotonie des Alltags geweckt. Wie auch immer das Verlangen aktiviert wird, nun ist es da und will befriedigt werden. 
Dann heißt es Koffer packen, das wichtige wird vom trivialen getrennt und sorgfältig verstaut. Ab ins Flugzeug, Auto oder den Zug und auf in ein Abenteuer fernab der Heimat. Es gilt neue Orte zu entdecken, andere Menschen zu beschnuppern und ferne Kulturen zu erleben. 
Nach dem man seine Erfahrungen gesammelt hat, kehrt man mit neuem Blick in seine vertraute Welt  zurück. Gewöhnliches gewinnt wieder an Bedeutung, unwichtiges wird abgelegt und das traute Heim erstrahlt in frischem Glanz. Zu den Erinnerungen bleibt dieses kribbeln in Fuß und Bauch. Und ob du willst oder nicht, es wird wieder nach dir rufen. Du schnappst dir erneut deine Habseligkeiten, bereißt das nächste Ziel, solange bis du alles gesehen hast. Dann beginnt das Spiel von vorn, weil die Welt sich dreht.
