March '99 I kicked off SpinFiX: a digital 4trk, 2 guitars, keys, drum samples, a mic'd up MD, a $10 mic for vox, a built-in synth. Experimental, built on limitations and tricks, forward motion and no way back. 1st 3 years gained airplay on JJJ and RN under 3 other names, a mention of 23krecords, and a moment on ABC TV. In '02 silenced by mental illness, later my father's death, followed by 3yrs of nothingness. A move north. Restarted on a 16trk under SPiNFiX. Studied music industry business twice. Quit drugs 28/12/08. 1st 6months of '09 living in a psyche-ward, a detox and med' overhaul for my mental health. Since '11, been designing and operating sound & lights for a live theatre, in '16 I became their tech manager. '18 I released a spoken/indietronica album 'intangible brightness'. '19 now using recording software. Currently working on a new album.

DJ NeKKoN – Biography

‘Taylor De Ridder’ (born January 4, 1986), better known as NeKKoN, is a passionate hobby DJ and music enthusiast who dedicates his free time to sharing his unique sound and energetic sets. Hailing from Denderleeuw (Belgium), NeKKoN has developed over the years into a versatile DJ who blends genres such as house, techno, and trance in his own personal way.

From an early age, Taylor was captivated by the power of music. His passion for creating and sharing beats soon brought him behind the decks, where he discovered that performing is, above all, about joy, friendship, and connection. Over time, he refined his skills and crafted a recognizable style with melodic influences and solid rhythms, always aiming to create atmosphere rather than pursue commercial goals.

NeKKoN’s musical journey is characterized mainly by its hobby-based nature and his strong connection with the audience. His performances have taken him to well-known clubs (such as Carré, Sapphire, La Rocca, Club 45, Noxx, and The Lounge Boat) as well as to neighborhood parties, small dance cafés, and charity events like the Rainbow Festival. He has occasionally taken part as a co-organizer, always out of passion and involvement, never from a commercial perspective.

In addition to performing, NeKKoN also enjoys music production. His tracks – available on platforms such as SoundCloud and Spotify – serve as a creative outlet and reflect his pleasure in experimenting with sound.
