The combined effect felt from our unique traveller perspective is equivalent to approximately 40 years… in just under 4.5 hrs…

Taking on early 80’s influences and seamlessly guiding and morphing the music into an undeniable and exhilarating House and Techno ride. "I’m still making music with bits of hardware, releasing under aliases and also a recent limited 10” lathe cut run comprising of an early 90’s Techno feel, along with various tracks that were mastered by Labels but never got released."

All good things must come to end as they say. In this instance producer and DJ Ysanne recently departed ways with us at Phonica having held it down for us every Saturday for the last couple of years. 
Having worked behind our counter as well as working some time as a artist agent Ysanne is now taking a step forward in her own musical journey. With gigs stacking up in her favour as well as her own productions appearing on records labels like Semi Delicious & her own solo EP potentially on the horizon it was time we grabbed Ysanne for a mix. And what a mix, with just over an hour Ysanne takes us on a journey through variations of styles, moving euphoric rhythms into more techy and harder moments as it progresses this mix is a perfect calling card as what to expect from one of her sets. Be sure to check her out festivals like Love International and more this year. You won't regret it. We had a quick chat with Ysanne, about the mix, what she has coming up and her time in Phonica.

For Trushmix 226 we got Brand in the mix. The Oslo based DJ and producer, and also working at Filter Musikk record store in Oslo. Keeping the vinyl spirit alive for all the underground DJ's in Norway.

Brand has released on Sunlab and the Oslo based label HMD, and is also a designer for the Montreal based label Dustworld.

Here he has done a one hour mix end 90's early 00 house and techno, all records he has been digging in the vast creates of Filter Musikk. This is a live recording he has done at Panu in Oslo, where Brand has his residency.
