Recorded in early morning time (5am) on the top of a hill overlooking the Pacific ocean. The microphones were positioned to a trunk between dense jungle.

Amongst other birds, you can clearly hear the Mealy Parrot (Amazona Farinosa) from 1:00 forward. I'm starting actively learn to recognize the birds and other wildlife species.

Rainforest: Colombian Wild Pacific

“Dream-Land” (1844) is one of Edgar Allan Poe’s most consistently misread and misunderstood poems. It tells the story of a journey, moving through landscapes of oceans, valleys, caves, and forests, beyond the borders of space and time. Although it’s never quite clear where that trip starts or where it ends. Nothing looks or moves the way it does in everyday life. Mountains tumble, the sky is on fire, the ocean leaps up, and the snow sits on the ground forever. This radio art piece explores the fragile line between the real and the illusion.  Representing acoustically what is said in the poem, read in diverse languages by women from different places of the world such as Greenland, Brazil, México, France, Germany, Iran, Romania, etc. Adding “images” and information with soundscapes from where this voices come from. Moving through real places and imaginary sound ambiences. Shapes, shadows and bodies get interlaced in an “almost “eventful and musical way. Recreating the actions, places and situations mentioned at the poem. Mixing field recordings with electronically modified sounds and noises, bases of many sources, panned, worked in layers to create movement of the microphone through textures and intimate spaces of this oneiric context. Also travelling in time: from past to future, from abstraction to concrete in a kind of apparently random session. Giving freedom to the listener to create each own tale, suggesting tracks to their imagination using words as a reference.

During dreaming the brain moves through different states represented by vibrations. our brainwave frequencies can descend from Alpha through Theta state (4-7 Hz). This “movement “is expressed , in this piece, by this kind of vibrations , linking different stories as interlaced memories.

Field Recordings of the Mysterious Ringing Rocks/Montana, music made with rocks. Near Butte Montana, and part of the edge of the Boulder Batholith, is a large jumbled pile of boulders, the rocks in this unique geologic formation chime melodically when tapped lightly with a crescent wrench or mallet.

It is believed that the ringing is a combination of the composition of the rock and the way the joining patterns have developed as the rocks have eroded away, though ultimately a concrete scientific explanation has yet to be arrived at. Curiously, if a boulder is removed from the pile, it no longer rings.

Slightly different pitches and timbres emanate from thousands of rocks in the formation, and in theory Butte's Ringing Rocks could form the basic ostinato for the "Music of the Spheres."(Musica Universalis)

Beginning of spring, an iron cage with a mix of seeds attracts several birds into it. Two omni-directional microphones tied around the tree trunk capture the incredible wing movement so close that in person it might be nearly impossible to experience.

Multi-channel field recording of 12,000 Italian bees at Buckeye Creek Farm Cherokee GA.
The setup consisted of four wooden packages of bee's containing 3000 bees each stacked on top of each other creating a wall of swarming noise. 

 Captured with the Neumann RSM 191-A/S and DPA SMK 4060 omnidirectional miniature stereo microphones. Everything was recorded at 24-bit 96khz with the Sound Devices 744T and Mixpre-D. Free Download
