The next full length from techno tastemakers Delsin is co-released by the man who made it, Morphosis aka Ra.H aka Rabih Beaini, on his own Morphine Records, as well as by close associate M>O>S. Entitled "What Have We Learned", the Lebanese-born producer’s album is due in April 2011.

Kicking off with the Redshape-channelling, misty, slo-techno march and buried percussive clatter of ‘Silent Screamer’, the album builds through a plethora of grainy landscapes. They’re sometimes dense with a dusty static, sometimes lit up by a female vocal or occasionally paired with a round house kick, but always sound rooted in some real (albeit far off and desolate) world.

Primarie is a Romanian dj born in ’87 and grown in the underground culture of Constanta city. His love for music developed his ability to be a catchy person, deep in his groovy sound of techno and house music. From organizing everything from small private parties to big events, playing at several parties locally and nationally like closing at Studio Martin and many aftherours in Bucharest, hosting two radio shows to giving birth to Tzinah Records, Primarie has a dynamic style and he managed to impose himself more and more. With Tzinah Family doing such a great organizational work and with groovy sounds the label raised itself at higher standards being supported by many big names in the industry. The well supported record label and his spontaneous attitude drove Primarie’s music outside the Romanian borders. With a good ability to move the dance floor , high ambition, professionalism and very fine taste of music, he will proceed to the next level of djing and he's prepared to do it good.

In may 2013 the long-awaited second album by zurich resident production master kalabrese was released and inspired again the dance community. an unique musical piece made for independent sensitive dancers and listeners. now, a remix ep is released with re- interpretations from the album. and the handpicked producers got down to work just as respectful and musically passionate, all appreciating the „rumpel magic“.
matthew 'indemnity' herbert runs against the storm with his „desperate man“ version and sparks a rolling fire of distortion synthesizers and blazing pads and voices. a peak-time bomb becoming also a whisky song à la tom waits as later the night gets.
martin gretschmann aka acid pauli remains slenderly, takes away the euphoria of „wanzka“’s afro and rotates about some synthesizer-modules and a groove as dry as dust, the afterhour isn ́t far away...
âme’s frank wiedemann masterly unrolls the dub and focusses on the solid choir of „stone on your back“. a strong massive track, fairly arousing, but also hugging the dancefloor and pointing to everybody’s hearts.
a canson remix completes the ep. the producer from zurich helped himself from kalabrese’s huge treasury filled with dozens of files and put a backing voice in the center of the hypnotic groove, he treats the harmonies oft he original very carefully.
a strong and independent remix ep that shows again, how full of potential kalabrese’s songs are and how incredibly relaxed the remixers dealt with them.

For Cadenzaʼs latest output, the imprint serve up something a little different from usual with a versus Ep from two astonishingly contrasting yet equally prominent artists within electronic music. No remixes or reinterpretations are to be seen but instead, a meeting of minds between Mirko Loko and Stacey Pullen with ʻDeux Élémentsʼ. Titled in fitting reflection of the combination of Swiss born Mirko Loko and Detroit innovator Stacey Pullen, this two track cut is as its name projects in all musical and conceptual aspects. Whilst Mirko Loko is by no means new to Cadenza after releasing his highly praised ʻSeventynineʼ Album on the label in 2009, Stacey Pullen is a fresh Cadenza artist that the label couldnʼt be more excited to have aboard...This is ʻDeux Élémentsʼ. 

The Epʼs first piece is “Formulaic Modeʼ, a twisted combination of chaotic clicks merged with underlying melodies and a serene ambience of calm. At first glance “Formulaic Mode” coaxes into techno territory as tinny highʼs and hazy kicks dominate the bubbling and electronically sparked vocal snippets. Progressing further into a solid techno realm, drums crash and the stomp evolves; thereʼs no doubt at this stage, “Formulaic Mode” is techno in the truest sense. Subtley though, mystical string arrangements invade the march and envelope it so gently that as our feet continue to, our hearts are tugged by crying violin strings and our minds melt from within. A unique layering of conflicting themes, “Formulaic Mode” works magically. 

Flipping over to the B-side, Mirko and Stacey present ʼTronic Illusionʼ next, working with the same intelligent concept of tones and scenes as “Formulaic Mode”, our flitting journey starts all over again. Fuelled by an underlying groove and percussive wooden rhythm sections, “Tonic Illusion” flirts with thundering house vibes and subdued drawn out choral chants. Constantly unfolding, “Tonic Illusions” long shimmering hats and stabbing crunchy elements weave in and out, ensuring we are continuously entertained whilst floating effortlessly from beginning to end. 

The atmosphere that ʻDeux Élémentsʼ evokes with these two starkly different soundscapes is unique and intriguing - a combination of two strikingly different artists in a surprising and bounding release from Cadenza.

Hot Creations deliver ‘Words Gone’, the first single from the forthcoming artist album ‘Love Somebody’ by Parisian luminary Popof.

Featuring the handsome voice of Arno Joey, ‘Words Gone’ is a stunning slice of electronic music with crossover appeal, giving us a taster of what is in store for the album. Cadenza boss Luciano’s remix dives into tribal percussion, while main man Jamie Jones flips into a new gear, introducing a new melody, deep pads and emotive keys. Canadian techno legend Marc Houle is last to remix, using a bright synth melody to add a new groove.

Voted Best Newcomer artist at the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2009, Popof has gained notoriety for his work with Cocoon, and remixing the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, and Moby. One of the most downloaded artists in techno music, he was appointed the official mentor of the Paris Techno Parade 2013's fifteen year anniversary, a great honour he shared in front of 300.000 participants.

One of the biggest names in dance music, Luciano has released on labels such as Perlon, Transmat and Lo-Fi Stereo. Aside running Hot Creations, Hot Trax and Paradise, Jamie Jones is this year launching his new imprint Emerald City alongside Lee Foss. Another huge name in the business, live artist Marc Houle can be found on imprints such as Richie Hawtin’s Minus and his own Items & Things.

Marc Romboy's infectious, driving cut for Bedrock records Counting Comets is back with a fresh new remix by Berliner and Watergate resident Ruede Hagelstein. The original track – also released on Digweed's seminal label – was Romboy at his most uplifting, cosmic and grooving tech-house best.  
After igniting clubs worldwide, the dance-floor favourite, originally released in summer 2015, receives an updated sheen from Hagelstein (who recently remixed Namito and Brams 'YTO' on Romboy's Systematic Recordings) imprint), plus a brand new follow on cut from Romboy himself. 
Hagelstein's interpretation takes the listener on a journey through twisted and distorted tech house from the offset, with disintegrated, 8-bit beats lending the track a stomping groove. He roughed up the pristine edges of the original and lain down a thumping kick drum while distorted synth chords fluctuate between minor and major tones. 
Romboy offers listeners a fresh interpretation in 2016 with Part 2, his down-tempo mix of the original cut. Rising through a crescendoing swathe of atmospheric tones like a sunrise over a valley, it's beatless montage of ambient sounds and vast, rolling harmonics offer a calming and soothing beginning for this ten minute epic. Then, a growling, melodic bassline grounds the track with solid foundations as sprinkles of groove and heads-down atmosphere begin to unfold.

Slovenian techno protagonist Valentino Kanzyani shares his underground house vision on his debut release for Cadenza, titled Love & Gratitude EP1. The techno turntablist, who made his name spinning on three decks in Slovenia in the mid-1990s, has always been known as a sound experimentalist. From techno releases on labels like Tronic and Intec, to deep funky tech house collaborations with the likes of Masomenos, and progressive hits like ʻFlyingʼ on Yoshitoshi, Kanzyani is a true beat scientist (and a celebrated one too).

As this EP shows, Kanzyani is an astute creator of grooves that have deep percussive roots and an unconventional raw energy. All four tracks on Love & Gratitude have a free spirit - there are no set drum patterns or genres to lock on to. The dance music just flows, magnetically, towards an unknown space of Kanzyani's design.

For instance, the EP's first track on which he collaborated with Ian F., Old School Romance, is a wriggly, dubby tech house track. It slowly worms its way into your heart and feet with warm Detroit pads, and a fidgety bass groove. It hints at a possible future explosion of light and energy, but it never quite gets that far. Instead it ducks and dives, hiding in the shadows, choosing to build tension elegantly.

El Circulo De La Vida is a magical trip of live electronics. With a percussion section built from an odd assortment of bells, live hand drums, and strange clanging instruments, the rhythm is animated and imperfect. The bass beneath is equally disjointed and unsystematic: sometimes it rolls sexily, at other times it just murmurs. The track is led by a melancholic church-like organ, which wanders aimlessly and eerily. To compliment it, Kanzyani includes some spoken male Shamanic Spanish vocals which, if heard on a large soundsystem, would sound like the dancefloor was eavesdropping on an important spiritual conversation.

Woodoo Samba (digital bonus) is more beat centric. Relying upon a few simple drum elements, Kanzyani squeezes out an infectious druggy warehouse loop by constantly re-arranging its core patterns. It is almost impossible to guess what's coming next because the track is forever on the move.

Few DJs and producers have had the longevity and success that Jerome has had throughout his career and even fewer can lay claim to having graced such esteemed labels as Planet-E, Drumcode, Defected and Renaissance to name but a few. On the ‘Bicept’ EP Jerome Sydenham takes time out from running his renowned house imprint Ibadan Records to deliver the fantastic four track ‘Bicept EP’ for Desolat.

The EP kicks off with ‘Bicept’, a driving house track with incessant warm bass which cleverly builds through smartly placed additional crisp percussion and short echoing vocal snippets.  

Jerome demonstrates his production expertise on ‘This Door’, injecting the track with some serious funk, combining uplifting keys and warm pads, resulting in a track that has all the right ingredients to be one of the anthemic house records of the Summer.

‘With The Bone’ is another Dancefloor focused track, combining sharp stabs, a meandering synth and a short sharp vocal to devastating effect.

Rounding off the EP, ‘The Jockey’ sees Jerome combine brilliantly with the Berlin based Greek producer Quell, whose debut album was released on Ibadan recently. ‘The Jockey’ is a hypnotic and hedonistic journey, complete with pumping percussion, rolling vocals and raw sounds perfectly suited to move a packed club.

Overall then, on the ‘Bicept EP’ it is evident that Jerome Sydenham has drawn upon all his years of experience to craft a fine debut record for Desolat full of rich textures, subtle details and striking sounds.
