Omniscient Messiah

This is the base game music for the slot machine Dune which is available on both land and social casinos. It was ripped from the Cashman Casino app for iOS. It is also playable on other Product Madness social casinos such as Heart of Vegas slots.

DUNE (Aristocrat Slot Machine)

This is a flute solo piece I composed in contemporary genre.

I was inspired by a film called ‘Dune’, which is set in the far future, the film follows Paul Atreides as his family, the noble House Atreides, is thrust into a war for the deadly and inhospitable desert planet Arrakis. The beautiful and vast desert scenes in the film left me deep impression, which drove me the motivation of writing a story by music.

Flute, I believe is a perfect instrument for telling this story. Apart from its playful characteristic, I always sense a sentimental timbre of it. Musically, flute depicts a vast and bare dune in the opening section. With melody out of the key, the danger of sandstorm is approaching from the distance. People, who live in the dune, struggling for surviving and fighting bravely against the nature in the following section is represented by higher pitch register and significant dynamic change. When the sandstorm is away, the dune seems back to quiet and the music is back to the original key. This short piece explores ideas of human and nature. Splendid scenery can be full of danger, but we still call it home.
